I think what pei xun is trying to say is that Singaporeans fall into the trap of being satisfied easily. We satisfy ourselves by telling ourselves that there's much worse out there. But how much do we really know about the rest of the world out there? Even if we are better than most, is that a good standard to judge by?

What's wrong with being satisfied easily? I like being satisfied, it means that I'm happy and contented with our lot in life. If we are such disatisfied people, we'd only make ourselves more unhappy. Sure, sometimes, we can change things, and that is good, but if we're not satisfied easily, it would be much harder for us to be comfortable. We should be satisfied with what we have, and don't go craving for what looks good, because we'll only be making ourselves more unhappy.

Seriously, there are actually a lot of things one can do in Singapore. Look at the amount of parks there are. Look at the libraries (esplanade library especially). Look at the esplanade area, it's more than just a concert hall. In fact, the concourse area shows free performances.

If you think that Singapore is boring, of course it would be boring. However, if you decide that you want to make living in Singapore interesting for you, then you'll find things in Singapore to interest you. It's all in the mentality, I guess.

There's no way I'm going to migrate. I love it here too much.

As far as everyplace in the world is in concern: spending 10years alone in that area will get every crook and cranny in your knowledge. Everything will then be a boredom.

As far as I know: the field always look greener on the other side.

Despite having been to every happening places in Singapore already, the memories we had is irreplaceable, and the people we know and love is on this island. Migrating will never be an option to me. =P

'nod very hardly' yaya, memories there cannot be irriplaceable :]

When we graduate, we go on separate ways. So it is like migrating, just way easier to keep in contact.

Every 2 years O.O I did so dislike that. =(
