Curtis had been tending to the twins when Katra woke. He'd given Kimberly her bath in the kitchen sink a little bit ago and was just finishing washing up Christine when he heard his mate shuffling about on the sheets.
Normally it would have been to early for her to wake up, but today was her last day as a vampire. Quickly Curtis lifted Christine out of the sink and wrapped her in a fluffy towel. It was going to be a long night.

Jeff didn't know or care what Yakov said, he was too lost in everything that was Yakov and muffled a yes before attacking his lips.

Kat moaned and slowly sat up. She looked around and saw Curtis with Christine and smiled. "Good morning..." Her voice was scratchy and it hurt to speak.

Jeff looked at Yakov confusedly, "Wha?..." he replayed the last few minutes and swore. "Damnit yakov!"
