Hi, all. I'm Lachesia.

I'm also rather flattered to have been invited, since I usually lurk more than post around Gaia, and the fact that someone thought I'd do well here sort of floors me.

I'm over 20, gainfully employed, have a degree in Biology, and my interests include an obsessive need to read all the books I can get my grubby paws on, spending too much time on the internet, and attempting my own writing (NaNoWriMo, if anyone knows what that is), and renting all the movies that Netflix has in their storerooms. Needless to say, it's taking a while. I'm recently going through the lists of "OMGBBQWTF YOU MUST RENT THIS NOW" anime and having quite a good time with it. I'm a fan of random music; right now I'm listening to VNV Nation, Loreena McKennitt, The Killers, some random trance compilation, U2 and a bunch of other random artists.

I make the occasional forays into GD and ED, but I'm found most often in one hangout thread in the chatterbox or my quest thread du jour, or lurking in the marketplace buying and selling like a mofo. It's not the most social attitude, I admit, but I tend to succumb to inertia and stay where I'm most comfortable. I also love to lurk and see what others post, and when motivated, usually post snarky or almost-not-quite-funny one liners. I tend to be a spelling nazi, but I'm better at reserving that for my own posts and not so much for others. It makes life easier, definitely.

Recently, I've discovered the fine obsession of the fishing game and am now found mostly in the Fishing forum.

If I'm not lurking, you can usually find me posting a bit in many of the forums. I'm not really a "regular" in any of them....*points back to the 'lurking' statement* But anyway, I'm glad that I was invited and look forward to being a member.
I'm 13 (ack...*runs from angry mobs coming after the stupid youngen*), living in America, and, erm....have a cat. My interests include reading (Orson Scott Card OWNS o.o), computers, and walking around Fry's all day.
I'm into anime and video games, not really sports games as much as RPGs and fighting games. TV shows that rock are Clone High and Invader Zim (2 shows that should never heave been cancelled), MXC, Amazing Race, Family Guy and Futurama. I like music, generally everything but rap, R&B, and most country. I like the Pillows, Beatles and Queen the best. I tend to either talk too much or say stupid half-thought-out things impulsively, or the opposite and just sit there silently o.o;

Hello, I'm Goddess of Red. Don't call me that, though. I seriously hate my username and I've not the gold to change it. My real name is Emma. You can call me Red, Emma, GoR, or whatever else you may come up with.

My interests are music, drawing, singing, and..er, tap dancing.
Music is the love of my life. I like classic rock, new-ish angsty music (not things like Evanescence, good things like The Cure), old 60s, 70s, and 80s stuff, and other things of which their genre I don't know. My favorite bands are Queen, The Cure, and Aerosmith. I also play the French Horn, flute, didjeridoo, and djembe. Drawing is fun, though I'm not very good at it. Singing...hm. I used to be better at it, but my voice is daed now. Tap dancing is, well, tap dancing. It's awesome.
