Lance sat unde r acropping, the lgith beggining to hiot the land. stayign in the dark, he felt the book idly. the cross burned at his side uncomfortably, but he ignored it. he had enver oepened the accursed book. the man who had given it to him warned him never to do so. and he listened. he was not one to lie or go back on promises, he had promised not to open it, and so he did not.

Despite her stubborn anger, rai scarfed down the plate of food in a matter of minutes, shocking every patron of the pub along with the workers. Hishen remained impassive, fading back from the humans ignorant gazes, focusing on keeping them from knowing what he was. Ria ordered another round before gulping down her drink. "I'm not the only one after it."He spoke up quietly before she had formed the question. "The book is easy enough to track alone but with the others it will be no visible challenge." Ria nodded her accord, trusting her friend. She did not press him for more information, knowing that Hishen, though a demon, was far from evil.

Lance's eyes caught the glare from the sun that slowly ascended to the south of his rock. gettign caufght in sunklight was not good, so he sctooed farther in so he was still under the shade when the sun got higher.

Kit walked into the pub and looked around. She kept one hand on the handle of her daggers just in case someone decided to pick a fight with her. She sat down a the bar table and looked around at everyone in there.

( sorry i really am i feel so bad that i have not rp since a couple of days i been sick with a fever and well i better now so i can rp but i kinda confused as too were to start so don't be like oh thats bad please don't )
anna sited down on a rock that was in the town as she just sighed and let the winds blow her har back and forth. it looked like her hair was dancing in the winds. her eye's showed no emotion. anna was confused and lost in the city and she was really hungry. anna the sighed as she just sit down on the rock and looked up at the sky.

Ria was too absorbed in the food she shoveled down her throat to notice a new patron walk into the pub. She, after all, had to prepare for the long weeks the two of them would spend out in the barren wasteland where food and water are scarce. Hishen, however, was far more observant. His red eyes followed Kit to the bar table, taking particular interest to the hand that was glued to a dagger.
((don't worry about it^^ it's night time, me and fox-san are at a local pub and kozo-san is out around the borders of the little town))

Kit looked at Hishen. Why is he looking at me. She though and her body tensed a little. With she free hand she lifted up the shot glass and put it to her lips and took a gulp.

In realization that she had noticed him staring, Hishen moved his gaze back to Ria who was almost finishing her fifth serving. He brought the mug of dark alcohol to his lips, sniffing in the aroma as he viewed the bar from the corner of his eye. "Where now?"Ria burped, wiping her mouth on the back of her sleeve. "Sleep, in the morning we will search."he replied quietly after placing the mug back down on the table without taking a sip. Hishen needed a clear head. Ria nodded her agreement as the waitress gingerly made her way to them, eyeing ria as though expecting her to explode from the food consumption.

Kit stood up and walked over to the male that was looking at her. "May i ask why were you staring at me?" Kit asked and glared at him.

Ria burst out laughing, spewing her drink over the table. Hishen, too shocked by the blunt confrontation did not find any retort for several moments. "Just observing.." He said at length. Ria calmed herself her wiped the remnants of her drink from her face onto the back of her hand. "my friend just likes you." She teased, drawing a cold stair from hishen.

anna stay sit on the rock as she like the night she looked up at the moon as she gave a smile." so i guess it only us gain out here." anna said in a low tone as she thought of the moon as a friend since she never had one before she always travel alone.
