Hawk made a face and shook her head as she skidded back from the telekinetic shove. "My public reputation keeps slipped. Or it would if I had much av one." she muttered. She was not looking forwards to the battle with Soul, he was supposed to be a hero and he had seemed to be a good person. She was reminded uneasily of Sean and her jaw tensed as she made her way to the arena.

The shove caused him to fall as well. He got up once Soultorn left. He was suddenly as serious as he was when he had to deal with Jhonny. He didn't look at Jackal, but he was surely talking to him anyway.
"I'm sober right now, but I am a drunken b*****d. Sure I knew my father, but what does that matter? I killed him anyway, I'm worse than a b*****d."
He turned towards the arena.
"Even if it seems hopeless... don't follow me. Even after I've crushed the life out of the man we know as Soultorn, don't follow me. My future plans don't involve this ******** planet anyway."
And with that said he was off. It was no surprise that on the way there, he was confronted by random officers. He simply disarmed them and destroyed their weapons, he didn't care about their lives, he just didn't feel like being bothered.
He saw the arena. There were dark, stormy clouds surrounding it.

Jackal turned to the newcomer. "Hey, Im not a villain, I can't help it if my brother had ambitions to rule the world. Though admittingly, Im not going to call myself a hero, I don't like most of them, and I bet they would say the same of me. I'll fight villains if I feel like it, and I will choose not to help a hero if I do not like them. I have no side in this conflict except to say that I am on the Jack side. Now, while I have had no contact with the elder Jack and my brother, I am more than certain that my brother has turned away from commiting extreme acts of villain, though I am uncertain if he has turned away from villainy completely. I myself am nuetral to this conflict, but I will support the Jack race, and I will defend it from those who would attack it. We, as the few who are left, have an obligation to do so. So, with that said, Id appreciate it if you didn't judge me. Its not just black an white in this world ya know, there are gray areas. I happen to stand in them." Jackal then turned and watched General leave with a sigh. He was fed up with everyone being so emotional lately. Everyone had problems it seemed. The world was hell. For a moment, just a moment, he wondered if it would have been better for Jack to have taken over the world, but then he reminded himself that a power hungry maniac never was a good thing, or so history had shown. "What has gotten him so emotional? He thinks he has it bad with a brother..." Jackal didn't finish his sentence, he merely shook his head. "Anyway, I say we do exactly what he said and not follow him."

He eventually made his way over to the arena. When he entered it, a forcefield surrounded the whole place, preventing General's escape.
Soultorn was hovering in the air at a far end of the arena, looking down at General who had just entered.
Soultorn: I wonder what it's like to have a... regular life.
The confused ex-hero once again used his telekinesis on General. He stretched is arms out, and he was attempting to rip the large villain apart.
Soultorn: I wouldn't know though, because I never even had my own life. When I did, when you finally gave me my own body, my family was dead. Though I do have you, brother! Oh what fun we can have together!
"Oh shut up!"
General began walking forward, even though Soultorn was still trying to immobilize him. He was putting a major strain on Soul's head.
"You're not my brother, you're just a failed replica of me. I don't care what Pimp McSlap said to you."
He finally pounded his fists together. Soultorn fell to the ground. The forcefield faded away and the clouds left, letting daylight flood into the arena. General walked over to him and lifted him up by the throat.
He said nothing to Soultorn. Instead, he sent a telepathic message to Jackal. He just recently picked up the ability to send these, but he was unable to send clear, understandable messages. There was also a severe volume problem.
""Hey Jackal, bring a crossto thearenabring four nails too, you know, for nailing people onto things. Like a cross."

This wasn't right.
That thought kept rolling in Hawk's mind as she flew into the air, heading to the twisting clouds above the arena. Soul was confused, he had to be, why else would he have turned to this path? Or was it because he was a copy, a replica of a soul ripped from a body and left to exist.
Hawk didn't have any answers, and was sure that none would come. She approached the area, watching as the forcefield vanished. The daylight poured in and she wrapped herself in shadow, landing to the ground. A bolt of lightning whirred close to General's hand, as Hawk held up a lightly burned hand.
"Soul, why are ye doing this?" she asked, voice quiet and measured.

The bolt caused him to drop Soultorn.
"Damn it! Make it quick! Once the cross gets here he won't be alive for much longer.
Soultorn slowly got up. His head hurt real badly.

He turned to Hawk.
"I... never had a good reason to do good. After a while evil just seemed a lot more appealing. I don't know, I guess something came over me back in Durem, but... damn it, I don't know!"
With a sudden burst of adrenaline he charged at General.

His back was turned, but he quickly faced his foe and whacked him in the face with his spiked club. He proceeded to beat Soultorn with the club, causing insane damage on him. He then dropped the club, dropkicked him to the ground, and stomped on him a few times.
Finally, he picked him up, tossed him into the air, and as he was falling back down, General punched him in the chest, sending him flying into one of the arena walls. That one final punch caused Soultorn's blade to fly out of his hand.
General picked up his weapon.
"Don't bother, Dan. Don't bother."
Soultorn coughed up blood as he looked at the wall. He was breathing heavily, and his head was still in way too much pain to use telekinesis.

Hawk's eyes narrowed and she flew at General, landing quickly between the two "General, stop this. What Soul did was wrong, I admit that. But he has no why he's doing this...maybe there's something that can be done for him." she stated. She frowned, mouth tense "I can't let ye kill him. I won't." she stated, shadow and lightning twining in her hands.

That was when Jackal showed up carrying a big wooden cross on his shoulder. He looked out of breath. "I...got here...as fast as...I could" He breathed out. "Who's going to be crucified!?" He asked, looking from Hawk to Soultorn. "...do we have to choose? Can we do both?" Jackal said, suddenly very much liking the idea of a crucifiction. He had yet to releive his boredom, and he needed to kill something, be it hero or villain. Normally he wasn't like this, but without the ability to find either his brother or the elder Jack, he was getting crazy. He needed contact with someone of his own race, because these Gaians just didn't understand a Jack, and most of them hated him, even if he did save them from time to time. Personally, he didn't like Hawk either, she hated his brother. So he had clipped her wing, big deal it would grow back, but it seemed like she didn't trust any of his race now because of it, at least to him it looked like that.

He didn't like the idea of fighting Hawk. Even if he could manage to go through with the battle, Phantom was already pissed at him as it was.
"Soultorn is the one being crucified, Jackal. Thank you for bringing the cross."
He took the cross from Jackal, jamming it into the ground, making sure it was even.
But then, General felt a series of slashes on his back. Soultorn already healed from every single attack.
He turned around, looking at Soultorn with pure hatred.

He threw off the cape and the holographic eyepiece. He knew enough about General anyway, the eyepiece was never anything more than a fashion accessory.
The two of them began fighting once more. General made contact with his weapon a few times, but with Soultorn's rushing adrenaline and speed, he was winning the fight. He made a good number of cuts and deep stab wounds as well. General fell to his knees, coughing up blood.
"Next time we meet, we finish this!"
Soultorn said, fleeing the arena as he heard police helicopters.
(He quickly sped behind General because Hawk was standing between them.)

Jackal raised an eyebrow, but then suddenly shifted his eyes left and right, with a sly look on his face. "Well...I guess that only leaves one other person then." Jackal said, looking at Hawk.

General puked out a bunch of blood on the ground and then stood up, wiping the blood from where his mouth would be.
"Here's the deal, Hawk. You go and talk to him. If anyone can convince me not to kill him when you get back, then he can live. But his future isn't looking too well right now."

Hawk was about to speak again, when Soul weaved around her attacking General. About to run interference, she paused, watching the fight and winced a bit as General collapsed. She looked at Soul frowning "I'll come find you, later. I won't drop this." she murmured, a faint sense of anger filling her.
She raised a brow, eyes narrowing as she looked at Jack. "I'd like te see ye try." she retorted. She didn't trust Jack, any of them. The woman nodded "I'll be back, hopefully this will be solved." she stated and took to the air, moving after Soul.
