We live to fight...
Dorune looked at Time and sighed, "I suppose you want me to explain it?" Without waiting for an answer he turned to her and sized her up for a moment. So this is another one of us. Funny, I expected a little...well... he thought about the right word before a voice intruded in his mind, If it helps your perceptions, Dorune, I chose all of the group members myself. You need not worry about their qualifications. As for you telling her, yes, you must. You must be more kind to her than you were to Zachary. That was fairly rough, don't you believe? The voice berated him, but ended slightly amused. Dorune then looked at the woman and smiled lightly at her, "Alright, so here's the basic's. We are organizing a group to travel within Alinia's Expedition to Ashran and you have been chosen as one of the lucky few to be in this group. We would be greatly honored to have you along, milady Salyf," he then nodded a little and said, "If you do decide to join us, know that if you ever need help with anything, I am here to assist."
We fight to die.

(([edit] Actually, I can come on tomorrow, it's just that I might not be on for long. Sorry.))
Salyf giggled. "Lucky? I guess I am." She then looked at Time. "And I guess I don't have too much of a choice, do I?" Salyf shrugged. "I accept. I didn't expect life to get so interesting so soon." Smiling, Salyf directed a question at Dorune. "Well then, are you in charge? Or is it this kind stranger here?" Dorune and Zachary introduced themselves, but the other man still didn't offer her his name, even though she had already overheard their introductions.

Alex walked into a tavern, she had a backpack slung over one shoulder and her furry, ferret friend on the other. There weren't very many people here, the majority was sitting at a table nearby. Not wanting to stay long, just long enough for a drink, Alex walked over to the bar and ordered a pint. "Relax a little Oak, we won't be here long, I don't intend t' be either. You know how I feel abou' people." She said quietly in the animal dialect to her ferret. She kept glancing over at the group of people wondering what it was they were dicussing. She had always been quite curious.

Salyf noticed another person come in. She had an odd speech and a ferret on her shoulder. 'You don't see many of those out of their homes...' Salyf thought, taking a sip of her wine. She then looked down at her hands. The expedition to Ashran was something she only dreamed of, and now that it had come so soon, she started getting doubts.

We live to fight...
[Sorry, I had a concert yesterday and a date tonight =P]
Time laughed and looked at Salyf, "Must you act like that? I know you heard us. Very well, if you feel like it, then do so. You may call me Time for however long we are together. If you have heard of the myth of me, it is true. I am real," he smiled at her, "Lets keep it to ourselves though. As for who is in charge, that would be..."
"Now wait just a damn minute, Time. Don't you dare to think to push this leadership down my throat. I was forced into this," Dorune glared at Time as if he had read the man's mind before he had spoken. Now listen to me, Dorune. You may not want it, but you are part of this group too. There is no official leader of this group, everyone has something to contribute. So stop being so melodramatic, the voice in his mind berated him, if you need to think of someone in charge, that would be me.
Time smiled at Dorune, "There you go, Dorune. Now sit back and enjoy the ride," Time looked back to Salyf and Zachary, "As I was saying, the leader would be no one. We all have something to contribute to this group. Even our newest comers," Time smiled at Salyf and then turned and looked at the new entry into the inn, "You'd think someone with as much practice as my master could be more subtle." Time shook his head and walked over to greet the new comer.
We fight to die.

'Lady, someone comes to speak.' Oak said to Alex. Of course she already knew that, she had sensed him coming but she was going to keep quite. I want nothin' t' do with these people. They'll probably be nothin' but trouble. She thought as she took a sip out of her pint, and she kept her eyes on her drink, not wanting to look up.

'No leader, ka?' Salyf thought, a bit surprised. 'Wow, makes the journey that much easier.' She suppressed a giggle at Time's tactlessness. Her eyes wandered over to the woman with the ferret. "Another one of our group, I suppose?" She asked no one in particular.

We live to fight...
[So everyone knows, this will be my last post until Sunday, July 22, 2007. If its important, Rikusgirl_Keylix can get in contact with me. And so you know, Rikusgirl_Keylix, I put that on all my RP's =P Just call my cell. heart sweatdrop ]
Dorune nodded at Salyf, "Aye, probably. Either that or someone to accompany Time to bed tonight," Dorune chuckled a little. He shook his head and drank the rest of his ale. He then looked at Salyf, "So miss, where do you hail from?"
Time walked to Alex and smiled at her, "Good evening, milady and friend beast. May I join you for a few moments to discuss a few things?" He smiled and held his ale and waited for a response before sitting down. He leaned lightly on his staff and his white beard swayed lightly.
We fight to die.

"Where do I hail from, you ask?" Salyf smiled sadly. "That is something I, myself, would like to know." She looked down into her cup of chilled white wine, watching the ripples as she lightly shook it. After awhile she looked directly at Dorune and whispered, "And you? Where are your origins?"

Alex gave the man a side glance, not turning her head to face him. She didn't want to come off rude, so instead of saying what she wanted to she said, "Sorry good sir but I'd rather not, y'see," She looked back at her drink. "I just came in fer one drink an' then I'm off again... so..." She really didn't know how to finish, but had hoped the man understood her meaning. 'Lady you really shouldn't be so rude to the man.' Oak chattered in her ear. Alex gave a smirk as she sipped her drink again.

Zachary, unsure of what to do or say here, rose from his seat to let the more well-informed individuals to their talking. He walked to the bar, ordering yet another ale, drinking it while mulling over what he had just been told about this "expedition." Was he really ready to do something like this? He took a sip of his ale. He didn't know... Was he really willing to put his life on the lines for something even Luna didn't know about? Maybe it was over her head... Maybe this was just something he had to do.

We live to fight...
Time chuckled to himself and said to Alex, "You know, in all of my experience I've found that animal's usually have better sense than humans. When your friend beast here says that you should be polite, it may be wise to listen to him," Time smiled, "and to you friend beast, do you believe you may be able to convince your companion here to at least listen to my proposition before shrugging me off as a common peddler? I assure you, it is important," Time adjusted his grip on his staff and waited for an answer.
Dorune looked down into his empty mug and thought for a moment before answering the woman, "It seems that the gods have put you and I in the same ship, miss. I also am without the knowledge from where I was born. I just know that it is no where I have ever been, as I am sure it would jog my memory if I went there again," Dorune shook his head, "though I have a suspicion that our friend Time over there may know because of...well, who he is." Dorune saw the serving girl walking around again and signaled for her to bring him another ale.
We fight to die.

Salyf watched Zachary leave to the bar out of the corner of her eye, then turned her attention back to Dorune. "I doubt that I'll ever know where I was from. Maybe I could ask Sir Time over there, but that'd take the excitement out of my life." She smiled. "I mean really, what if it turned out that I was from Hajrian?" Salyf downed the last of her wine, muttering something like, "I'd die first." off to the side.
