Kyle hit the floor with a muted thud and was out like a light. Kat bared her fangs, which still had Kyles blood dripping from them. She had barely gotten a sip of blood before Holly hit her. She couldn't think straight thought the haze of red that blocked her mind and vision. It'd been days since she had had food or blood. She was weak and desperate. She struggled with Holly but couldn't get her off of her.

Jeff took a second to react. He didn't realize what was happening till it was happening. He was by Kyles side first checking for a pulse.

"Holly! Get off of her! Kyles fine. The wounds already healing." Jeff shouted at them. "And Kat, what the hell?!"

Kat growled, and made less notifiable noises.

"Yakov! Help me!" Jeff stood up and tried pulling Holly off of Kat. "Holly stop it! I don't think she can help it right now!"

Kat's eyes narrowed, she didn't need her airways open, since breathing was optional, but Holly's paw prevented most noise from escaping her mouth. She could only scratch and claw at the paw that pressed her into the floor.

Kat yowled and tried to struggle, but she was getting weaker. She had used too much energy trying to fight Holly.

Jeff grabbed Kat, since Yakov had Holly, and pulled. Finally, with both Yakov and Jeff pulling in opposite directions, Jeff finally wrenched Kat out from under Holly, not without a few claw marks left on her shoulders, but at least they were away from each other.

Kat had curled up in the fetal position and couldn't do much but feebly growl at Jeff. Jeff picked her up easily. "Damn it! s**t is right. Kyle's fine, so I'm taking her upstairs and keeping her away from him. Yakov I'm going to need your help, Kat needs to feed, but I need you to make sure she doesn't kill me."

Jeff dashed up the stairs and into their bedroom, once Yakov was inside he shut the door and locked it. Not that a lock would do much to stop a vampire but it made him feel better. He set Kat gently onto the bed and she went limp. "s**t!" Jeff looked at Yakov, "I love you," then he clawed at his wrist andi n two swipes it was bleeding profusely through the old wounds. He jammed his wrist into Kats mouth, hoping to dear god that it wasn't to late for her.

Jeff winced at first, but then Kat grabbed onto his arm and began to drink heavily. Jeff was conflicted, it felt both amazing and disgusting at the same time. He loved Kat, but not the way he loved Yakov, who was holding onto his other hand he had to keep reminding himself. Jeff groaned with both pain and pleasure.
