He went over and pointed. "I made a nest there," he pointed to the inside. "Copper coils. They can't take too much heat, so if it starts to overload, they will go inactive. I looped them to make the whole nest sifter, yet to make it possible for us to secure the egg so that even if the furnace were attacked, it would remain snug. It has a door here that opens out so we can add fuel, check on it, or so the little one can push free." He beamed proudly.
