"A little pain never hurt anyone." Aki replied simply, smirking beneath her mask. She eyed Kagenara for a moment. "Something on your mind?"

"What do you mean, Aki?" He replied. The remnants of his clawed glove started to dry and crack as the Twilight Gem was out of commission. "It's already started!" Kagenara exclaimed as he heard a loud crack as the glove began to disitegrate.

"That's exactly what I meant." Aki growled, striding over to Kagenara. Grabbing his arm quite forcefully from the shadows, she yanked it out, inspecting the crumbling gauntlet.
"I see..." she murmured, watching as it continued to crack, "So without this, you can't step out of the shadows, am I correct?" Letting go of his arm, she folded her own limbs over her chest, leaning against the wall.
"Well, that sucks."

Ryu smiled. "Yeah, thats pretty much it. Which is why I made this." Ryu picked up a pair of black gauntlets. He tossed them, the gauntlets passing through the portal. "Put those on. I don't think they are as powerful as the ones back in your village, but they should be good enough for now." They pulsed with dark aura. "My dad used to work on shadow technology and created those gauntlets. I tweaked them a little. Try them on."

Kagenara tried the gauntlet on, it was a bit heavy for him, as he was not used to armor; but apparently it did do the job. "This would suffice...at least until the rest of my apparel started to fade away." Kagenara sighed "So whats this about your brother again?"

"Eh, I'm coming." Aki growled, already moving to follow the leaving ninja, "If you win, someone has to carry you back you know."
She smiled weakly, eyes slightly reassuring. "Though I'm sure you'll be just fine, Ryu."

"He's coming. Good." The man stood atop a pile of bodies. Each one was ANBU from the different counties.

"Lets get this started...shall we?" Kagenara said and unsheathed his blade, which immediatly began to fluxuate, and the light around it began to bend. "Great, even my sword is being affected..." Kagenara complained as he sheathed it again.
