Shooting a slightly softened glare at the albino, Roderich fell even further into a darkened mood. 'So... You were joking?' Being laughed at was only ruffling the aristocrat's feathers further, and his face deepened. Never had he found humiliation to be quite so... So... Well, infuriating. His tone was quiet, but dangerous, as if daring the German to continue his mockery.

However, the Austrian was unable to stay angry for too long. He couldn't hold a grudge to save his life (which was probably why he'd been so patient with Gilbert for all these years; having never lost his temper) and it had been pretty funny. His scowl broke out into a smile, which softened his glower as it reached his eyes.

'You're an a**, Gilbert.' Lightly swatting at the ex-nation, Roderich laughed. 'I'll get you back for that.' It was a rarity to hear the aristocrat swear... And to swear so light-heartedly too.

((That's fair enough Dark, I'm kinda running out of stuff too. xD))

The laughter died in the albino's throat as he caught sight of the glare. Giving a slightly uneasy glance, he ducked his head and stared down at his lap silently. "I..." He didn't know what to say. Yes, he had been joking. And...well, yeah, he supposed it was rude to call the Austrian womanly. But, the man acted like what the old opinion of women used to be. He sewed, he cooked, he wore prissy colours, and liked doing housework.

He blinked, glancing up at the man when he laughed and called him an a**. He gave a soft groan when he was lightly hit, giving a slight smile and resting his head on Roderich's shoulder.

"Sure you will, Specs," he commented sarcastically, voice a sleepy murmur. "Jus' like all the other times." The Austrian had never gotten him back for any of the Hell he had put him through.

Inwardly, Ivan gave a grimace when the Greek came over and asked which hotel they were headed to. We, the Russian thought, the word foul to him. We. If he could him it, Greece would not be involved at all, but he was unable to prevent that. Keeping his voice carefully voided of all expression, he quietly mumbled the name of the hotel.

When the Greek touched Yao's forehead, he felt a wave of irritation fill him. He bit it back, keeping his face blank. "Da. Is use low body temperature to do so," he muttered, mentally cursing his struggle with the English language. It was the first time that the Greek would have heard his distinct awkwardness with forming sentences.

"A-ah?"

Antonio glanced over at the Italian, green eyes questioning. Why did Lovino touch his hand? Was...was his depression visible? Biting his lip slightly when Bella and Lovino's attention was averted from him, he shook his head. "My Government called to request a taxi for us. It won't be so bad, ?" He flashed a cheery smile, getting to his feet.

Watching the Italian escort Bella to the exit of the conference room, a small amount of gloominess filled his green eyes. He hesitated, watching them leave. Together. He was suddenly reminded about how alone he was. Lovino often stayed at his home, yes, but... Antonio was so busy, either with his gardening or his government. He didn't get to see him much. And when he did, he usually was yelled at.

Shaking his head again, the Spaniard pushed aside the weather-induced thoughts. He grabbed the umbrella and hurried forward. "H-here!" he commented, holding it out to Lovino. "You two should use it, ?"

Alfred gave a soft pout as Arthur told him what to do, but reached for his jacket zipper anyways. Just as his hand reached it he caught himself and rubbed his neck in a sheepish manner.
'Kiku's stuff!'
"I'd uhm, I'd rather not. It's keeping me...warm." Alfred said with a soft grin.
'Believe me! Believe me! 'Com on Iggy! Just ignore it.'
Alfred dropped his hand and held both hands lazily at his sides.
'I hope he doesn't ask. Do. Not. Ask.' Alfred willed. He really didn't want to explain.

No, 'Tonio.” Lovino brushed hair out of his face as he sent the Spaniard one of his rare true smiles to the other. “Why don't you and the lady take it? I don't mind getting wet.” his face lit up with uncharacteristic kindness towards the other.

As Romano stepped back and ushered Antonio before him, soon pelted by the rain, It was, after all, the gentlemanly thing to do, right? He watched close to the two under the umbrella's expression with slightly strained eyes as he waited at the curb for the taxi to arrive.

---------------------------------------

Lilli nodded, looking up at her brother.

We are stuck here?” she asked slightly worried. As she overheard the words from the call. She used one hand to reach up and fiddle with her bow. “Where are we going to stay, big brother?” she asked averting her eyes from the rest of the nations and to the door. “It's really bad out now?”

Francis followed the Englishman throughout the house slightly like a lost puppy. As he finally stopped, France did to.

“I brought alcohol.” The 'frog' answered with a helpful grin on his face. “When they settle down, maybe it will help, non?” He continued, hoping to try and persuade the Brit to drink enough to cloud his judgment, he had lost the chance earlier, and he was now determined to make sure he would get the chance again.

He watched America with a thoughtful look on his face.

'Aaah, so you don't believe me.' Stating this as fact rather than as a question, the Austrian raised his eyebrows at the sickly albino. Of course, there had been nothing in their past to prove otherwise, but that didn't really mean anything. Roderich had found -and abused greatly- a little weak point in Gilbert's seemingly rock-hard defenses, and he'd be damned if he'd stop trying to find more of these tiny niggles. 'Fine, fine... Think what you will.'

He had a way. Oh yes, he had a way... And it was Gilbert's suggestion. Granted, he'd have to sacrifice a great deal of dignity, and it'd be handing the German a weapon, but... The desirable short-term effects would be certainly more than worth it.

And all it would take would be a few phonecalls.

'So... Are you planning on sitting like this all night?' The aristocrat questioned carefully. Of course, in order to put his plan into movement, he needed for some time away from Gilbert... And at the moment, that didn't seem possible. Yet.

----------

'Mmnyahh... Lemme down, am go... Find taxi, aru.' Giving a weak struggle as he yawned, Yao's distaste for waiting this long for the transport was beginning to show itself. He was usually patient... But this was ridiculous -especially seeming as his patience was wearing thin due to his illness. Though Ivan's cool temperature made his fever bearable, it wouldn't do so forever and the driver's lateness was beginning to irritate the Asian.

He stopped his weak struggle after a few moments, covering his mouth with one hand to cough, finding that each hacking movement caused his throat to burn... It stung, it hurt, but it wouldn't stop. After a few moments, the coughing episode passed and the chinese man slumped in Ivan's arms, his breathing weak and a little wheezy. 'Hurts...' He complained in a soft bleat, sniffling. He hated being sick... And unfortunately was not so adept at hiding it as the other nations. Rather, he seemed to revert into a childish state, craving attention and aid to make the sickness go away.

Crossing his arms, Arthur flashed the Frenchman an irritated glance. Scowling, he sat down in one of the chairs, leaving the covered sofa free for the two pests he was currently dealing with. "I'll drink when I want to, frog," he sneered, keeping his arms crossed.

With a light huff, he cast his attention onto his former colony, raising one eyebrow skeptically. "Your jacket is completely soaked through," he pointed out, suspicion in his voice. "It can not be even remotely warm."

Thinking it through, Arthur noticed a trend. Kiku was hiding his coat under the pillow and now Alfred wouldn't remove his. Obviously, they were both hiding something. And what they were hiding was rather obvious to him. Kiku's illness. It was clear to him that Kiku was not ill due to only a cold. After all, his economy was remarkable at the moment so rain wouldn't make him sick like this. It meant he was already ill. The only thing that stuck out to Arthur as a cause for Kiku's illness was the effects of WWII.

It hurt to know that Kiku was still suffering for that. It hurt more to know that Alfred and Kiku were hiding it from Arthur. But then, he supposed it was fair. He was, after all, hiding his own illness from them, as well.

With a slight flush to his cheeks, the albino nuzzled his face into the Austrian's shoulder. He gave him a sleepy groan, choosing to grant him only that as a response.

He shivered again, the side of him not pressed against Roderich's warmth feeling rather chill. In response to that, he simply wanted to take more of his warmth. But.. it wasn't really possible and he knew that. He was already completely pressed into the Austrian's side. He couldn't really get closer even if he tried.

He'd be mortified over his actions later when he was able to think.

Feeling the struggle the Asian was trying to accomplish, Ivan cast a glance over to the Greek. He pondered his situation silently, thinking back to what Svitlana had done when he was ill.

Assured that Greece was far enough away not to hear him, he softly murmured a song that his sister would sing to him when he was ill. It was a sad folk song, but a beautiful one.

"Ой, то не вечер, то не вечер...
Мне малым-мало спалось,
Мне малым-мало спалось,
Ой, да во сне привиделось.
Мне малым-мало спалось,
Ой, да во сне привиделось.

Мне во сне привиделось,
Будто конь мой вороной
Разыгрался, разгулялся,
Разрезвился подо мной.
Разыгрался, разгулялся,
Ой, разрезвился подо мной..."

His voice was faint as he sang, not wanting Greece to overhear. He only sang the first two verses, instead of all four. He hoped it would help calm Yao, like it calmed him when Svitlana sang it to him. Of course, her voice was much nicer than his own. Although, he did admit his singing wasn't what one would call bad, either.

Antonio blinked when he was pushed to stand beside Bella, casting a confused look at the Italian. He noted the smile, not sure what to make of Lovino's actions. It wasn't like him, really.

Just managing to get the umbrella open and over his and Bella's head when they walked out of the shelter of the building, Antonio bit his lip slightly. "B-but you're getting wet!" he protested, green eyes full of worry.

He didn't know what to do. Lovino was already soaked, so they couldn't switch places. That would get Bella wet. And...it was pointless to step into the rain, because then she'd be alone and he'd be soaked.

Alfred watched in amusement as England gave insults to France. When Arthur's attention turned to him he gave a soft scowl but hid it with a neutral expression in it's place.
'You just had ta ask, didn't 'ya?' Alfred thought with a irritated sigh. He glance at Arthur and paused for a moment trying to think of what to do.
'If I lie, he might catch me, if I tell the truth he will chew me out. This is so not cool.'
"Really, Iggy," Alfred began smoothly, bringing his arms to wrap around himself, "it's fine. I am alright with my coat. You know that." Alfred finished with a grin. He made a show of falling to the ground and sitting on the rug he had previously been standing on.
'Sides! I'll just sit on the floor! No dripping on the sofa! It's all good, Iggy!" Alfred said with another grin.
'Kiku! Hurry the hell up! I'm running out of lies!

Kiku could hear voices outside of Arthur's room and peeked his head out, seeing France and America standing outside. With a soft gasp of surprise, Kiku pulled his head back into the room and looked down at his clothing. Arthur had returned his clothing to him, but Kiku felt rather comfortable in Alfred's childhood pyjamas. Swallowing his pride, Kiku stepped out of the bedroom still dressed in Alfred's old pyjamas.

"Konnichiwa France-san, Alfred-kun," Kiku greeted, bowing at the two other nations, "What a surprise to see you here, France-san."

Kiku walked over to Alfred and sat down beside him, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible.

Alfred saw movement at the corner of hi eye and turned to see nothing there.
'Ghost?' Alfred thought a little paranoid.
When he saw Kiku pop out he grinned and smiled.
He gave Kiku a friendly hug when he sat down.
"Hey! Kiku! How are 'Ya?" Alfred asked pulling away, but he still leaned against Kiku a little bit.

Kiku was startled when Alfred gave him a sudden hug, somewhat wetting the white clothing he was wearing. Blushing slightly, Kiku blinked before clearing his throat. He wasn't use to such public displays of affection, but since becoming allies with Germany and Italy, it had become a significant occurance, so Kiku had learned how to deal with it. None the less, it still was somewhat awkward and strange for the Japanese man.

"I am feeling much better, Alfred-kun," Kiku replied to the American's question, "Arigato for asking."

Noticing the American was still leaning against Kiku slightly, the Japanese man also rested some of his body weight against Alfred. Sure, Kiku had gotten a bit of rest eariler on, but he was still somewhat tired and his illness wasn't helping matters at all. Since Alfred was leaning against Kiku a little, why shouldn't Kiku, himself, do the same?

Alfred gave a soft grin.
"I'm glad. I'm happy you are feeling better!"
'Maybe...Maybe he is feeling better after all, maybe it was all a fluke? I hope...'Alfred thought this, but knew fully that it couldn't be true. He liked to pretend though, it made things easier.
"So? Has Iggy been treatin' you well?"

'Thanks for the input, Gilbert. Really.' Unable to help but tease the albino, Roderich smiled warmly. 'Come on now. You're shivering...' Noting this with a slight blush at the nuzzle, Roderich turned his head away, picking up such a habit from the Prussian himself.

'Look... You'll catch a chill. We're moving.' Deciding to add a little firmness in his voice, the Austrian made to move. Granted, Gilbert was still snuggled up to him... So moving too much would probably cause the German to lose balance and fall over. As amusing as that would be...

He had to stop himself from following up on that idea. Gently easing himself away from the ex-nation, the aristocrat gave a wry grin.

'Come on. Do I have to drag you?' he teased.

----------

Yao stopped struggling almost instantly. Blinking blearily up at Ivan, the Asian listened to the lullaby. The Russian had a sweet singing voice... It was soft, gentle, and comforting. Closing his eyes, he snuggled into his friend's chest again, sighing softly in mild contentment. He caught a few of the words, but after a little while, he stopped attempting to translate it and simply listened to the melody. He'd not ever heard Ivan sing before; it was pleasant and reminded him of the times that he'd sung to his own siblings... When they were little and couldn't judge him too much on his lack of tune.

'Pretty...' He murmured as Ivan finished the song, smiling up at the Russian with a hazy look of enjoyment in his eyes. 'Where learn such... Song?' His Russian slurs were soft, barely hearable, but at least his fretting had stopped for now. Yawning, Yao shivered and clung tightly to Ivan, wanting to feel drier... And cooler. His high temperature was more uncomfortable than the wet clothes, and he was desperate to feel more human than this.

Giving another soft groan, the albino shivered and kept himself snuggled up into the Austrian's side. He made a slight sound of discomfort when Roderich pulled away a bit. Opening his crimson eyes in an disgruntled stare, Gilbert moved away a bit so he was sitting on his own, giving slight trembles as he lost the warmth he had stolen from the Austrian.

Rubbing his eyes wearily with one hand, he flashed an irritated glance toward Roderich. "You're an a**," he muttered, shivering weakly. "I was comfortable."

"Why do we have to move?" he whined, not even aware at how pitiful he was behaving. He crossed his arms, trying to keep himself warm. He sulked, looking much like a small child.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Relieved that Yao stopped struggling, Ivan fought back the light blush that was threatening to dust his cheeks. He wasn't used to this sort of behavior, so it seemed odd for him.
He gave a small smile, glad that the song did seem to calm Yao. He shifted slightly, bundling him into his arms a bit more securely.
"It's an old Russian folk song. Svitlana would sing it to me when I was sick," he murmured. He was glad that it soothed Yao much the same as it had when his sister would sing to him.
