Aoki turned to look at the place she had just come from, and without breaking her blank gaze at the hill, passed her older sister the food, chop-sticks hanging from the center of her mouth.
'Hm... One day, I'll tell him... But, thats all later, no use worring about it right now when I have a whole town to explore in a day.'
"So, would you like to explore before suki* comes out?" Aoki asked blankly, still staring stupedly at the hill. "Or are we just going to turn in for the night?... Wait a second, where did this man find you to employ us? And why? Certainly he didn't just come up our hill and find us, for sure we would have killed him, right? And letters are just as bad. It means he knows where we are. The only time I remember you being out was when you were looking for Haku, and you went back in striaght after."
...Sometimes Aoki thought to hard about things.
((Suki means 'moon' in Japanese. Found that out when I was reading 'Akatsuki' info. Itachi's group of 'friends'. Akat means red, and suki means moon. So the orginazation is known as 'Red Moon' or 'Dawn'.))

Shinobu jumped backwards at this sudden outburst of questions from her sister and waited, eyes wide, until her sister was finished, wondering what exactly was in the food she had just ate.
"Calm, A-chan, don't worry, do you remember that mission that me, you and Koh were out to do, and then you two ditched, so I had to go about it on my own?* Well, on the way back from that, I stopped for a drink in the pub, which by the way you aren't allowed to do miss 'underage'," she added in quikcly with her 'mother-tone', "and, once in there, I was approched by a man heavily armoured in black robes that I could tell were enchanted with shadow guards and ablities, and we got to speaking. He told me that he'd been watching me during my mission in the hotel, how craft I was to take down the netire inn all by myself swiftly and silently in one night, now, obviously, hearing that he'd witnessed something meant to be discreet, I was wary of his motives and what he wanted of me, but I couldn't see myself in any danger, so I decided to hear him out."
Shinobu stopped to take a breath, and then continued.
"We spoke, and he told me that, after judging my abilities for himself that I'd shown in my 'escapade' he needed someone like me for a job that he had. He assured me that I, according to my abilities of what he'd seen, would be able to handle it, and that there was something for me in it too. I agreed on the condition that you, my sister of equal abilities, could join me, and it was so. He said that, come a months passing, he's be at the Copper Coronet** bar of the city of Amarante, with the mission whereabouts and info."
Shinobu smiled at her. "I landed us one awesome mission, hunh?"
[*You guys won't remember tihs because it was in the OLD rp, still a continuation of this, and you don't need to know it. Just to let you know.]
[**All Baldur's Gate II for PC fans will know what I'm talking about. I couldn't think of anything else... >.< Hopefully that sick romantic guy won't be there... ugh.]

The sun climes into the sky as Nia walks barefoot over the forest soil. The earth under her feet is still cold from the night and the fresh green leaves sparkle with dew. On her left an old ruin appears she hasn't seen before. Old pillars of sandstone stand on both side like old trees or guardians, with plants overgrown rocks lie around, only their formation still telling they were once part of something bigger. Nia walks around between the remains looking at it's beautiful and at the same time sad decay. In the middle lies a big stone in the form of a cube. The place had obviously been an altar of some sort. Probably for long forgotten heathen gods of nature. Those same gods had now claimed the altar back for their nature, and it and the people that prayed here, had long been forgotten. Nia runs her hand over the stone, it is smooth and the touch warmer then she had expected. The sun reaches over the treetops and sheds a warm light over the place, covering it in a yellowish glow. Nia looks around on last time and tries to remember where it is so she might return later, and then continues her way.
The theatre shimmers trough the trees as Nia gets closer. Her feet dried and she puts her shoes back on. The straw hat had slipped of her head, she arranges her hair and puts it back on. She enters the clearing around the theatre, it was the same as always. She walks around the theatre and enters the garden trough a rusty iron gate. The garden was not to neat, but the path was still good and the plants were growing fast. Nia closed the gate behind her and walked trough the garden. She stopped at a small wooden shack in the corner. She entered it and suddenly stood in total dark. She feels with her hand along the wall and gets grasp on a small pole. She pulls it and feels how a small opening appears in the wall. The light from torches behind it vaguely lights the shack now. She steps in and closes the door with another lever. The tunnel is not that long, but goes up a lot and soon the other end is in sight. It is covered by a purple curtain, and as she steps trough it, she finds herself in her own meditation room. She leaves it and goes back to her own room. There she lights a few candles and places the ring on a holder. She looks at the purple stone shining in the candle light, she grins and drops herself on the bed, tired.

Fai opened his eyes slowly, not as tired as he had been when he had returned 'home'. He smiled and stretched again, planting one foot firmly on the ground and the other crouched on the seat, his arms behind him straight out, and he smirked smugly, jumping up and flipping in the air, landing a few metres away from where he had been napping- uncomfortably, mind you. They needed better chairs in this place -then looked around, running his fingers through his blonde hair to smooth it out from his cat nap.
After looking around for a bit more, he nodded to himself, as if just deciding something, and started to walk around the theatre, in need of entertainment. He didn't want to be bored, because when he was bored, he became rather lazy, and he didn't like to be lazy, no matter how relaxing it could be. As a thief, he had learned that he always had to be on his toes. And trained as a ninja, he learned that relaxing was just signing your will before your untimely and unstoppable death.
Who cares if he was immortal? Always moving and knowing everything that happened did have it's perks, you know.

[XD Vanslaz told me the exact same thing. Yep, some people will come and go, but some people will be here with the roleplay for as long as it needs them. ^^ That's very refreshing.]

Aoki nodded enthusiastically and turned back into the town. "Yep! Sounds really awsome! I wonder what we're doing, because in all honesty, I'm really nervous... Haven't been on a mission in a while, so I didn't train to what I think I would need for it."
Aoki tilted her head to a side for a couple of seconds, and thought quickly of all the training she had been doing. Practicing her illusions when she was bored, reading during study time, and running around between Shinobu and Koh and Suki... She had done quite a bit of training without even meaning to.
"Okay, so maybe I've done some training. But not as much as you have."

[[- Well, there you go, my introductory post, I hope it was long enough to suit your liking. I actually had rather fun typing up that, and I'm excited to join, I can't wait to have a lot of fun role-playing with you guys.
Just to let you all know, I'm not a newbie, and, in you look at my user look-up, you'll see that I've accumulated very little activity, well, that because my old file, which has been on gaia for over a year, was hacked somehow, and so... I'm starting again. Just to let you all know. ^^
But, yeah, back to the role-play, I bet it's going to be lots of fun and you guys look like such good role-players! -]]

{That was such a long and well written introductory! Now I'm going to try something...Maybe I can get more detail or something into my posts. They seem short to me. Hmm...}
One spider, two spiders, three spiders....Fai blinked and shook his head, turning away from the intricate design of the cob webs being created by the spiders he had unconsciously started counting. He needed something to do, something that would keep his mind occupied...Where was his little sister, for example? He had just come back, and he hadn't seen her at all, which made him quite sad. He was very fond of his little sister, and her little turtle, but he hadn't seen them at all. He sighed, and shrugged. He'd se them later.
Now that he had decided what to do about the very happy-go-lucky girl he called family...He had nothing to think about again. No missions were currently being planned, and it didn't look like anyone was around the main part of the theatre with the stage and the balconies, the numerous chairs and the pit where bands and orchestras had once, long ago, played. He tapped his chin thoughtfully. He could never remember much about the history of this theatre...He couldn't evenm remember half of his life, ever since they became immortal...
But again, what has already happened, happened, and he shouldn't dwell on it.
Jumping again and catching onto the edge of a balcony, he flipped himself over, standing in it, and looking down at the seats and stage, and smirked, turning and walking through the back of the stage, down the stairs to the front of the Immortal Thieves 'home' or headquatres. He'd find someone...
