I wouldn't know the first thing about being in debt, actually; I refuse to even get a credit card.
Debt just pisses me off. I understand that lots of people really don't have a choice but to spend more money than they technically have; also, even though mortgages are obviously a form of debt, mortgages don't piss me off really at all because I don't understand them enough to be pissed off by them, lmfao.
But, really, I'm starting to think that our country's retarded [well, even more retarded than I previously thought]... I mean, everybody is in debt, & suddenly we're all shocked that there's a freakin' recession & that the banks are going broke. Well, of course they are, why WOULDN'T they be? Of course, the banks aren't broke any more after that damn Bailout Bill, & don't get me started on how ridiculous THAT was, I'm saving my long rant about that for whenever Bush's Seceretary of Treasury answers his damn door [my parents live two houses down from him in Washington DC... Thanks to that guy their street was swormed with Secret Service agents the whole time Bush was in office]...
But, still... I'm so sick of people bragging about how they have a great work ethic & worked hard for everything they have when their goddamn credit cards are maxed out. I mean, really? Worked hard for everything you have? You ******** spent so much money that wasn't even yours & now you're surprised you can't get out of the whole you dug yourself in?!
