17 mintues later, Kohana arrived panting at the shopping district, apologies ready at her lips. Yet as she charged through the back entrance, heading for the manager, she skidded to a halt. The shop had not yet opened, no patrons occupied the reloving sushi bar.
"What..?"she asked the empty room.
"Boss' house was robbed just this morning" said the head chef. "He won't be in today so you're in luck. Just don't let it happen again."He menacingly waved his knife before heading back to the kitchens.
Bowing rapidly to his retreating back, she stammered her thanks. Thanking her lucky stars aas well, Kohana set about opening the resaurant.

Straightening her apron for the last time, Kohana prepared her best 'welcome' smile and prepared for a dry night.

"Well, we could go to the sushi place down the street. I don't mind." She smiled. "Do you guys want to leave now?"

"Now would be good..." Kiki said, "In fact, you all can catch up with me 'cause I'm out!" she ran playfully to the door watchign it open automatically. Luna ran out of the way as Kiki exited, nearly getting run over.

Jewel gets up quickly and runs out the door after her, almost knocking Luna over also as she darts past her. Unfortunatly for Kiki, Jewel was just a little too fast. She catches up to Kiki and grabs her around the middle, laughing. "Ha ha I got you! I guess you just weren't fast enough!"

Kohana peered through the glass restaurant doors.
"No one" she said glumly.
Just then a burst of teens erupted from the arcade down the street.
Please be hungry, she prayed thinking of her bills stacked up at home.

"Oof!" was the sound Kiki made as Jewel grabbed around her middle.
"Nice Jewel...Now let's go and c'mon! I smell sushi that's callign my name!"

Hiroshi walked out casually after them. "Women" he said, a small smile forming on his lips, "they never cease to amaze me".

She watched as the other teens fell into their comradery with each other. It was all so easy for them. Kohana doubted she could ever be like that with her peers. Taking out her journal, she wrote down her observations, so that she could later discuss this with Fredrik.

Cabaret smiled to herself as she walked to the back room, finally finished with her shift at the Cabaret Red. Not only had she picked up enough tips from the audience but it had also been a full house, the boss was bound to give her a raise. With that and the extra she had coming in from the side, she was confident now that school tuition would be no problem. Practically skipping, Cabaret looked forward to her approaching night on the town.

They all walked into the restaurant and sat down at the table. "Hmmm, what to order, what to order..."

"Welcome to Oishi Sushi!" said Kohana, handing out the sushi menu."If I could please take your drink order now?" Taking out her order pad and pencil she waited patiently.

"Black rasberry lemonade on the rocks..." she ordered, "And the sushi variety."
