Kahten waved half heartedly at the papers around him. He didn't look up at Tasu again, he was half talking to the boy half working which was not the best combonation.
"It's probably out of your area though, don't worry about it. I just need these done by tonight." Kahten said as he scribbled furiously.

Kahten gave the boy a sad half smile. "If you feel you have to." He pushed some already written scrolls towards him. "Sort these will you? That's all you really need to do I can do the rest." He muttered as he finished another scroll and tosses it into the pile.

"Alright." Tasu smiled then took the scrolls and sat then started to sort through them.

Kahten scribbled in the scrolls until dark, not speeking to Tasu again until he was done. He finally handed the last scroll over to the young boy and leaned back onto his hands. He was tired.
"Thank you Tasu." Kahten muttered.

Tasu yawned then nodded. "Dont mention it..." he closed his eyes for a moment. "So tired..." Next thing he knew, he fell over and was laying on the ground.

Kahten heard the boy's body thump to the ground and nearly jumped out of his skin. He sighed werrily as he looked at the sleeping boy. He couldn't blame the kid, he was dead tired too. Kahten picked the boy up and laid him on his own bed. He'd return the boy to him own room when he got back, for now he had to deliever the scrolls to the Pharoah.
Kahten gathered the scrolls into his arms and headed out of his room closing the door carefuly behind him. He made his way down the hall and to the Pharoah's chambers.

Masu woke up and yawned, he wanted some water
He yawned and got out of bed, wearing only his loose fitting pants
HE scratched his hair which was probably sticking up at all ends as he opened the door and padded down the hall way

Kahten dropped off the scrolls and headed back to his room in quick brisk strides. All he wanted right now was sleep. A nice deep slumber. His eyes were already half closed as he sped down the halls. He just hoped he could make it back without any interuptions.

Masu was heading back to his room with a glass of water when someone bumped into him sending him to the floor
"oww" he mumbled as he rubbed his head all wet

Kahten groaned when the water splashed all down his front. He looked up sleepily at Masu and sighed. "You hate me don't you?" He said to the gods. tried to wipe the water off of him and fung it down at the ground.
Kahten went and grabbed Masu's arm pulling him to his feet.

Masu looked up at kahten, he never had any brains when he was still asleep so he couldnt really think of anything snappy to say
"Uh...sorry.." he mumbled trying to blink the sleep from his eyes and the cobwebs from his conciousness

"Whatever" Kahten mummbled tiredly. He sighed, it had been way to long a night. "Just hurry on back to bed." He mumbled bearly audible. "And I still have to put Tasu back into his bed too." He sighed again. Why did the gods delay his sleep? Why?

Masu yawned
"I can take Tasu if you want"
he rubbed his eye and blinked up at Kahten
He looked like a lil kid with his hair messed up and stuff
Except he didn't have the body of a little kid
But he could easily pick his brother up and just take him back to bed with him, they had slept together lots as kids, it wasnt much different, he had a big bed
