"Oh, I heard everything you said. I heard it all. I just didn't understand it. At all," H2 said returing the smile.
"Alysah grinned and turned around, "Alright, now what?" Her last minute plan had gotten to the briefing session but hadn't gone past it.

Kim shook her head then looked at Alysah with a shrug. "I should have known better than to think you planned all of this out already." Not that she was one to talk. She wasn't one for planning at all, she just kind of went with how the world threw things at her.

"ALYSAH!" Katie came running from behind a bookshelf. "I can't get out!" She stopped and saw everyone staring at her, "Oh, hi. I actually just needed to return this." She held out Black to Alysah.

Alysah stared in shock at Katie, "um... okay." She walked over and grabbed the book. "I'm not even going to ask why you felt the need to run and scream through my library when you know you get lost. Frankly I don't know why anyone ever feels this need. I mean, hello??? It's like a piece of my mind in the physical world, who the heck thinks they can navigate my mind except me?!?" She sighed, that wasn't random or anything. "Kate, walk with me while I put this away, I'll brief you, it's going to get a little hectic here for a while."

Kim yawned, not realizing until now how long their day had been. She then grabbed H2's arm and cuddled it a bit.
"Looong day..." she said, "I should take a shower and go to bed..."

Katie followed Alysah, resisting the urge to knock random books off the shelf, "So what do you need to brief me on?"

Alysah turned her head to Katie and kept walking, summarizing what she wanted of Kim and H2. "So, they'll be gone and our only connection will be the secret project I was working on that I know is no secret to you because you and secrets don't get along and your curiosity always gets the better of you. I have two complete sets and I'm working on getting as much of the ink made as I possibly can before they leave. And of course all of this means that Hatter and I will have much more work to do, which means you as well. You okay with all of this so far?" Alysah stopped and reached to place Black back on its shelf in its designated spot before turning and looking to Kate for her response.

Alysah sighed and rested her head on a bookshelf, the hardcover spines cooling her forehead and comforting her, it was a strange ritual that she had grown fond of as stress increased and with it her seemingly infamous headaches that eventually became migraines. "With them doing field work our workload back here at the castle is going to increase twofold. I'm going to be having you do a lot more nowadays." She grinned and shifted ehr head to look at Katie. "It'll be kind of like in the old days when we were all running around signing documents and making laws trying to get things done and back in order from the Old Queen's regime."

H2 pulled his arm away from Kim long enough to place it around her shoulders, "sounds good to me." He waved goodbye to Hatter and led Kim out of the labyrinth, luckily they weren't that far in.

Katie inwardly groaned, this would cause some stress. She hoped she didn't go off the deep end like that one time and start forgetting important things. "Well I'd have to start taping morning don't forget lists to my door again, but I suppose it could be fun."

Alysah stared at Katie, "...Fun... Yes... I suppose it will be fun, once we've gotten everything started and they're out of the castle, once everything's underway and running smoothly, I think it just might be fun. But until then... This will be mayhem."

Alysah sighed and chuckled a little, hugging Katie as she did so. "What would I do without you?" she asked rhetorically. "Come on, let's get back. I'm sure by now SOMEBODY'S destroyed SOMETHING I'll have to take care of. Sheesh, who needs children when you have an entire Kingdom to run?"
