Red walked around the forest, teeth soaked in blood from the hunt. she was walking through the nearby forest when her ears picked up the sound of a big gathering. well i do have alot of spare time... she thought to herself, and called forth her two imps Iki and Kon and a vortex of darkness engulfed her and she appeared inside of the room. she saw another person in the room with a different form of darkness control-shadow control and stared for a few seconds before motioning for her imps to follow her. she calmly looked for a napkin and when she found one she wiped the blood off her mouth and proceeded to sit down like a wolf would.

Risika frowns, understanding the meaning of the words he spoke, but not the words themselves. She barred her teeth in thought, "I need no friends, I have my family." Yet....what he offered her was intriguing....Risika glanced around to make sure no one was paying any attention to her corner of the room, discovering that they all at least appeared preoccupied. Turning back to the spot that Cozork had spoken from, she whispered curiously, "Friendship? What would your friendship give me?"

cozork noticed the creature enter, and smiled at the sight of the darkness in the room, though it was a very different darkness, it still comforted him.
he turned to the wisp of smoke that was so well blended into the shadows, he could see her much more clearly now that the new darkness was present.
"a friendship could teach us both a great many things"
he spoke softly so it was barely audible

Arminoire grew impatient with the conversation, they weren't getting close to a solution, they were more like gaining allies. Though she knew unity was an important factor, she didnt not want ties to grow while many were on verge of bloodlust.
Her attention caught on to a candle in the center of the table, with two small vases filled with delicate flowers and it's water on either side of it. She smiled, and concentrated on the calm flame, and slowly began to lengthen it, making it grow a stronger, more brilliant red. She spun the rope of fire around the candle wicker, and proceeded to spin out the water from the vase, making the flame leave the candle at the base of the wicker and twist along with the water, making intricate spirals.
She gave a soft blow, and although the table was huge and the center more than an arm's length away, the petals gently came off, and danced around the water and fire vines. It created two beautfully intricate floating spheres, with the petals formed back into a flower in the center, the water forming a hollow ball around it, and slim rings of fire circulating around it.
She did all this in boredom, and dared only to do this with the absence of the queen. Elementalists were extremely rare, and more, Arminoire was also a brlliant alchemist and sword fighter. She thought it smart to keep it a secret from the king and queen, so they do not use her family's powers to thier advantage, no matter how thoughtful and compassionate they were.
"I would like to hear the trade requests the nomads seek, I would like this matter resolved with haste and deliverance."

Risika frowns, and solidifies into a tangible being. She stands up, still masked by the shadows and appears to be a short slight woman of indeterminable age. Pulling off her cowl and head scarf she reveals long silvery hair that matches her eyes and moonlight pale skin. She visibly breaths in deeply and squares her shoulders looking to Cozork. "I accept your friendship and expect to learn much," her voice rings clearly, but still softly. She bows slightly, her eyes never leaving Cozork. " And who do I now have the privilege to call friend?"

cozork was suprised by how fast his offer of friendship was accepted, he had to be careful, revealing too much about his family could leave him open.
he decided to let on just a little information, enough at least to satisfy her for now.
"i am quite a well known member of the diamond tribe. they know me as cozork. my father is a powerful demon of the shadows and my mother a human, though she had claimed to have been raised and taught by an ancient"
he spoke with honesty and let his mind open a little incase she could read his mind, so she could confirm the truth behind his words.
"it is a pleasure to be aquaited with you"
he turned to Arminoire and realised her impatience.
"it would indeed be nice to resolve the issues at stake, as i stated earlier, i believe a trade of martial skill or knowledge would please our tribe greatly, what is it that the other tribes desire, and what does your family wish for?

"Demon?" She steps a little closer and cocks her head to the side looking him over. "It is legend amongst my people that my...clan...descended from demons long ago." She frowns slightly thinking that the legend was actually much more gruesome than that, but she had already said too much.
She takes a couple more steps closer invading his personal space while looking him over as if he were a rare and wondrous object, and not a person. Suddenly she pokes him in the side and takes two swift steps away from him. "You don't appear very demon like...somewhat soft for a demon..."

"issues? well i may be of service" Red said, making her way to where Arminoire was."i am a commander of darkness and an eccelent weapons master, combined with my wolf instincts i think i could help you out" she said and in one move she sat on the table, her legs crossed but dangling down over the table with her sleepy imp on her lap and the happy imp sitting on her shoulder.

cozork stood calmly as she approached him, he was content that if she did try anything, he could easily defend himself without breaking a sweat, they were after all both very deep in the shadows. his shadow to be exact, cozork figured that people hadnt realised that some of the shadows in the room weren't there before he had entered, and that thought made him smile.
he recieved the poke and the attention with a warm smile
"i am only half demon, the human part to my gene-pool seems to allow me to control the rage we demons are so well know to have. my father on the other hand, does not know this patience or control there are legend of several races descended from my forefathers, though i am but four hundred and twenty two years young, and have yet to learn much of such things"

Red accidentally overheard the conversation that the person she sensed could control the shadows was having using her wolfish hearing (it wasn't like she could just turn the sensitivity off) and smiled a bit more, knowing she didn't stand alone on being a demon. she was not part demon, but she did have one inside her. the very same demon her powers to turn into different types of wolves came from. at least she had somebody she could relate to a bit. she saw some extra shadows pop up in the room. thats odd... she thought to herself, but she didn't think much of it and ignored it

Rose suddenly woke from her slumber in the stool. She glanced around quickly, noticing all the people around. There were lots of shadow-dwellers here. But also Cozork. She felt a wave of relief and before she knew it she was standing beside him, their auras mingling slightly once more. Her foxtail brushed his back as she said "Welcome back, friend. I think I must have dozed off, how far into the conversation have you come? What trade will it be?" She looked at the others and smiled friendly at them, even though they each scared her almost as much as the cloaked figure had.

cozork was pleased at the presence of Rose, her aura was indeed relaxing, though he would have to keep his guard up for the other guests in the room might not be so friendly.
"welcome back"
he spoke with a smile
"it would seem we are no closer to the situation being resolved, but there has been plenty of new arrivals and i don't think it will be long until the discussions will begin"
cozork looked at the kitsune deep in thought, why was she so comfortable around him? should he be this relaxed, or should he be wary of her. he could have taken a look at her soul but she would have noticed being a spirit creature, it looks like only time would tell.

The Queen entered once again. She only saw cozork there, but there was evidence that more people had come and left. She turned to cozork, faintly smiling. "I missed everything, didn't I? I always do."

"you didn't miss that much to be honest, there were introductions, but no real progress"
cozork was pleased that the queen was back, whilst his family had hated royalty, he found himself liking them, and they had yet to do anything to change that.

The Queen relaxed when she heard cozork's voice. Rather than being scared stiff of a demon, she rather liked creatures that weren't all human. Humans were so boring. "Ah... Well, that's good. I'm the Queen. I can't miss anything." Silver began to talk with her guard down, and let out some things no person could know.
"I have voices in my head, you know. They tell me everything I need to know."
Abruptly she closed her mouth. What had she just said? And to a half demon, even worse!
