"If you're sure... neither you, or Sherra have to act polite or anything. If I need to leave, I'll leave. I-It's no problem." Cerras assured, brushing her tears away from her eyes, taking in a shaky breath while she tried to calm herself down. She cried too much, she really had to stop that. She didn't want to depend on that other part of her to stay strong all the time, she wanted to be herself. Anything else was just weird to her, she didn't like people always standing up for her either. How long had it been that way? From what she could recall, she'd been protected for all she could remember. "But if you really don't mind having company.. " She said, looking down at her feet, smiling faintly. "Then that's great." She realized her locket was in the opening, and quickly hid it away behind the collar of her shirt. She didn't know why, but she always felt the need to protect it.

Xellos nodded, and was about to suggest going back into the main part of the house when he saw Cerras hastily hide a necklace. Of course he'd seen it, how could he not? She'd made a rather good show of hiding it. It was only to be expected that it would catch his attention. He was rather observant. So not much went by him unnoticed. Of course, he hadn't gotten a good look at it, so he wasn't sure what it looked like or anything. "What was that necklace?" he asked. Another obvious fact, he was also rather prone to curiosity.
[[Lol. she's going to have to distract him somehow if she doesn't want him to find out about the necklace. Cause he'll recognize it instantly. xDDD ]]

Cerras smiled nervously at his questioning, and shook her head, trying to dismiss it before he could think too much about it. This was the reason she'd hid it, people had always questioned her about it, so she just began to make sure they never saw it. "It's nothing really... just a gift from someone..." She didn't remember exactly who, because she hadn't regained that memory. But she didn't want to try and explain all of that to him. "Why are you so curious about it?"
It was just a necklace, what was the big deal?
That was all it was, right?

[[No probably not. xDDDD It'd be too soon, and then we wouldn't get the fun of him preferring her over his missing fiance. ^^ and it's still day 1. We haven't gotten past the first day of school yet. ]]
"You were so quick to hide it, I figured it was something important." That was his only reason. He probably wouldn't have even bothered if she hadn't looked so panicked over it being in view. That was what had really caught his attention, not the necklace. "I won't ask anything more about it. Since you seem pretty determined to keep it secret." he said with his signature grin before motioning that they should head back towards the kitchen. There was nothing for them to do in here.

Cerras smiled nervously when he explained his curiosity, It was all because of her actions? "I-It is important. I just don't know why. And I don't want anyone to take it from me." She explained, before following him back to the kitchen. "I mean, I know you wouldn't, but it's just instinct." She hid it from everyone. Not just him.

[[Probably will have to have week skips. Cause there won't always be something interesting every day. I was going to have Lazuli's intro once he took her home, but given how long this day has been, I can put it off til tomorrow afternoon. ]]
"It's fine. You don't have to explain." he answered. He'd already said that he wasn't going to ask anything more about the necklace. If she didn't want people to know about it, then that was her choice. He wasn't offended by her actions in any way. Xellos didn't take offense at anything really. Any rude comment or disrepect was merely brushed off and forgotten within seconds. He wasn't oblivious to being insulted; he just didn't care. Once they'd reached the kitchen, he then went about the task of finding something else for them to do. There was nothing on TV, homework was basically finished, and he wouldn't have to worry about dinner for a while longer. He couldn't think of anything else. When in doubt, turn to the guest....
"Is there anything you feel like doing?" he asked cheerfully, glancing back over his shoulder to look at Cerras.

Cerras listened to what Xellos had to say, standing there silently, leaning against the wall. But she leaned her hurt arm; from when she got into a fight with that girl in PE. But she didn't remember any of it. She winced, and moved into a different position. Then she heard Xellos's question. "Umm... You don't have any ideas?" She bit her cheek in nervousness. She had things she liked to do, but they either seemed childish or girly. She didn't want to bore him.

"nothing in particular." He answered. The truth was, he didst do much indoors. When he and Sherra were together they would always go out with one friend or another. Most of his time spent at home was consumed by books and sleep. "so...what do you feel like doing?" He asked again. He honestly didn't care what it was. As long as it didn't involve something stupid. Like dressing him up like a girl. That had happened once. Strange things tended to happen with his group.

"No, no... it's stupid. Come on, let's go outside or something... " Cerras in somewhat of a mumble, maybe the fresh air would help calm her mind. But these memories definitely wont leave my mind. Why is it that his face matches Xellos's so well? We just met. It wouldn't make sense otherwise. She led him along, holding his hand gently so that it wouldn't bother him. "This way, right?" She questioned, going by memory. Then she found the front door. "There we go! " She giggled.

Xellos followed behind her silently, looking at the back of her head with minute curiosity as she led the way to the door. He wouldn't have even noticed her grip on his hand, it was so faint. Almost nonexistent. He wasn't fazed at all by the action. It guaranteed that he wasn't going to have to hunt for her later. He was about to answer question on whether their direction was correct, when the door came into view. He smiled a little; she was clearly pleased with herself for finding the entrance. He then followed her outside of the house, not caring to point out that she was still holding onto his hand. He would let her figure that out on her own. "Alright. Now that we're outside, what shall we do?" he asked curiously. It was still her call on what they would be doing. It was only fair to let the guest decide. Especially when he had nothing planned.

Cerras hadn't noticed even the slightest that she was still holding onto Xellos's hand, she was just so relaxed, clearly comfortable with all that was going on. She really trusted Xellos, and they'd just met. Who knew? Perhaps they were just really good friends, and that was why? She wasn't really sure herself.
Cerras listened to his questioning and thought to herself. " Well... I guess..." Her cheeks flushed when she realized how girly her idea was, and she quickly brushed it away from mind. She didn't want to drag Xellos into all of it. He probably wouldn't like any of it. " Well... what are some places you like?" At times, she didn't care what she wanted; if something made others happy, she'd be happy, just to see them smile.
She went to grab for her locket; her comfort item; once again in nervousness, but then noticed that her hand was still around his. Her heart fluttered, and her cheeks slowly flushed. Her grip loosened a bit, her hand a bit shaky, what was she to say? In a mere second, she pulled it away, nearly stumbling back in the rush of it. As much as she'd like to hold his hand, this was just awkward. She hadn't even noticed, and worst of all, he seemed to. Why didn't he say anything? ... H-He couldn't have liked -- ? .. no, no, no... couldn't be that.
"I-Im sorry..!! I didn't... I didn't mean anything... I...swear! That would just be silly!" She was just making a fool of herself again, she knew it. And the look on her face gave it away too. And her golden eyes stared right at him in apology.

Xellos merely smiled as Cerras babbled on, stammering and blushing as she tried to apologize for holding his hand for so long. With how she was acting, you would think that she had committed a crime or something. He wasn't really fazed at all by her actions. Girls at their school had done worse, the details of which he wasn't going to elaborate on. But the point was, there was no reason for her to be apologizing like this. And he told her thus. "It's fine, Cerras. You don't have to apologize." he told her. Then he recalled her question from before she had panicked, and thought over it for a moment. "There are a lot of places in town that I find enjoyable. But you looked like you had a place in mind before, so I believe we should go with that idea." he said cheerfully. He didn't care how girly or silly it may be. He had accompanied Sherra on trips with Dee. And most of those were things that most self-respecting male would come to fear. He'd managed to survive that. So he doubted Cerras could come up with something worse than that.

Cerras held her hands in front of her face in nervousness, trying to hide the fact that she was blushing still. She couldn't believe he kept asking, she really meant what she said, she wanted to do what he wanted to do! She blinked when it was mentioned that she didn't have to apologize, and brought her hands down to her sides, nodding her head slowly. . "Sorry... " She apologized for her apology. How silly she was. But these little things were what made Cerras how she was. She knew what he said before, and she didn't even notice she apologized; it was just instinct she supposed.
She heard his cheerful words and shook her head. "No, no... I'm telling you... we shouldn't.
I don't feel it'd be good-- so um.... what do you think would be fun to do, Xellos?" They could always go shopping or something, but that didn't fit right with a guy. She scanned his face, thinking to herself.

Xellos tried not to laugh when Cerras apologized again. This time for saying sorry in the first place. She really was a silly girl. Though now it was up to him to decide what they should do. In many ways she was similar to Dee so he just had to think of what she would like. That made things a lot easier. "well since we can't decide then we could always just go into town and see what gets our attention." He offered. They would have to drive. Since the main shopping center was a good distance from his home.

"Umm... alright." Cerras said softly in agreement, she didn't mind going into town to see what they could do. She just hoped nothing would include money. She didn't want Xellos to have to pay for anything, it would just make her feel bad. "Let's... go then?" She turned back to the direction of the car, she knew how far shopping centers could be.
