Olive looked up at Jessi, still inert in the snow. "Why did you jump?" she asked, raising a brow. Surely she wouldn't have risked doing so herself, most likely she would have ridden to the top of the mountain and informed the lift-watching people, for lack of a better term. Maybe on an impulse it would have seemed the more logical action, but after you think about it, it's really not the smartest thing to do. She sighed, wishing she could stand up and everything would be better. But still, one question floated in her mind; why wasn't she in pain? Surely, after a fall like that, she must have broken several bones. Her eyes widened at the fearful thought she may be paralyzed, but when she attempted to move her legs and arms just a little bit, they were fine. Her dearth of movement and warmth was simply unbearable.

"Heh... Because I'm a thrill seeker." He grinned at her. "Oh come on, people jump out of helicopters and onto mountains all the time, what's the differents?" He smiled knowing very well that the helicoptor only was a few feet from the ground, not twenty. He then winced as the man moved his leg. The man told Jessi that it appeared to be sprained and that he'd be fine. He then told them that he was going to put Olive on the stretcher and bring her up to the medical building. Jessi nodded, although he really didn't want to hear that he actually hurt his legs, and might not be able to board on them... He shook his head, it was a stupid stunt to pull, and he knew it.
((I figured he'd get you to the medical center, because after all you're just laying there and you didn't have the guy do anything about it... O.o; ))

Nick smiled, "I like your company. You are nice." He turned her face back to him with two fingers lightly pressing onto her jaw bone lightly. He had no control over his fingers it seemed as they did this, but they quickly departed or at least that's what he hoped, but they lingered on her warm flesh for just a moment before he finally had the ability to manuever his fingers again.

"oh so what was that for?" she asked looking into his eyes trying to figure him out. She took anothre sip of her cocoa and placed it on the table. SHe then leaned back once for and looked at him.

"Heh, it's good that your leg's only sprained and not broken or else this trip would be a waste of time," Said Kimiko. She held out a hand. "Need any help getting back Jessi?"

Nick felt a blush creeping onto his face as the heat radiating was hot. He took a large gulp of his hot cocoa to give him some time, but it scalded his tongue and flinched at that. Placing his hot cocoa back down on the table inwardly whimpering. He looked back trying to make eye contact, but only laid eyes to her jaw line. He shrugged lightly with a thin lined mouth.

"o...k then" she said and looked away again watching the snowfall as it started to snow once again. 'what was that about?' she wondered. She glaced back over to him then back to the snow as there was an uncomfortable silence and tension in the room.

He glanced at Olive and then pulled himself up. "Yeah sure... Olive if you're not back in an hour I'll check on you." He smiled at her, and then brushed himself off. "Don't tell everyone I pushed you!" He let out a chuckle and then put his arm around Kimiko and leaned on her so he could make it to the cabin.

Kimiko guided Jessi back to the cabin. They went into the "living room".
"Hey guys! Eh..... What's going on here?" Asked Kimiko, still supporting Jessi.

Jessi looked over Nick, and a girl whose name he'd forgotten(concidering you only wrote sheee rotehexe). He nudge Kimiko with his side concidering his arm was around her. "Think we walked in on a 'moment'?" He laughed and smiled at the two trying to cut he tension in the room. He then realized that his arm waas around Kimiko and he had no where to talk, but he had an excuse. So he made himself and her scuttled over to a chair, and he let go and ploped down.

Nick brightened a little seeing someone else to cut the tension, "No, no moments. There are no moments here. Only snow, snowboarding, and skiing." He said this hearing the silence fill his ears in which he recoiled by staring at his hands which her held in his lap. 'What have I done?' He mentally sighed.

"What did you do jessi?" Alexa asked him looking at him. "Or are you two together now?" she said raising an eyebrow. She glanced at Nick and semi shook her head then looked back at jessi.

Olive moaned lightly, opening her eyes to an unfamiliar room. She wanted to ask where she was, but it was just too appropriate to do so. She always liked doing the wrong things at the wrong time. She looked around at the various faces, some watching her, some tending to their own business. She half-smiled, seeing Patrick on the other side of the room. She caught him taking sideways glances at her every so often. Wait a minute...where was Jessi? Oh...right...he left with Kimiko. Gotten hurt from the fall or something. Most likely he'd hurt his knees since that was the main joint used to cushion a fall. Might have been the ankles if he turned upon impact. Why did she know all this? Health, must have been. Or reading. Wait, no...reading is with books...
Olive put her hand to her head. She felt so...cloudy. So..

They must've drugged her. Like they did on Man of the Year with that girl. When did she see that movie? Was it even out yet? Of course it was out. Was it in theaters? Feels like she saw it twelve moons ago. She probably saw it yesterday. No...yesterday she was coming up on this trip...
Patrick, who had been half-watching Olive, noticed her squirming and dizziness. He nodded to his colleagues and joined her by the bedside.
"Where am I?" she asked, a dazed smile upon her face. Yes, the perfect worst time to ask. Damn, Patrick would probably assume she was delusional or something. Or maybe he would just guess it was an affect of the drugs. Ughhhh. Olive just wanted to tell her brain to stop thinking so much!
Patrick smiled, unsure of whether this was a joke or not. "You're in the hospital. We need to do some Xrays on you and see if you've broken any bones. That was quite some fall you had, there," he said, fiddling with his clipboard.
"But you weren't there," she retorted unemotionally. Score two!
"Hah. Right, well, from what I've heard it was pretty bad. But uh.." he almost hesitated with continuing, staring intently at her through his thick black glasses, "you aren't in any pain?"
"Nah. What's wrong with me, Doc?" She held back her laughter. Need she say three?
Patrick stroked his chin, covered in light stubble. "Not sure.." he said thoughtfully, watching her movements, "but we'll find out in a matter of hours." He smiled at her. She was very pretty, despite all of her wild makeup. He slightly enjoyed her sarcastic attitude; it was intriguing. It was very unusual she wasn't in any pain at all. He nodded to her and went to report to the other doctors and nurses.
Olive smiled, watching him go. He had a nice personality, thoughtful and kind yet mysterious. At least, that's what she'd gathered from their brief chats. Her thoughts floated back to Jessi...wasn't that a girl's name?...no, shut up brain, stay focused...jeez, it's like she had ADD or something...ah, stop it!...what was she thinking about? Great...oh, yea, Jessi. He was cool, handsome too. Kimiko was probably all over him right now, though. And that Nick kid. But nah..he was too..something...

"A couple?!" He squeaked slightly in his voice as he looked over at the girl. He then shook his head, though he had to fix his tone as not to offend Kimiko. "No, no... I just fell for Olive... Wait that didn't come out right... I uh, jumped off the lift to help Olive who fell before... And um... Er... Kimiko helped me al here, my legs hurt... That's all. I uh... Yeah." He was blushing slightly and then forced a laugh at his own stuttering. "Anyways... I'll just relax and uh... Check on Olive in an hour..." He nodded lightly and then fell quiet from his cocky attitude.

"Boy can you studder any more?" she said in a joking tone. Jessi was cool and she could relate to him, she liked him like a brother or a friend but nothing more.
