Wow, you are doing really well.
It takes capital to start making gold here, but once you get started you can really generate some momentum.

You really have to watch what items to deal in.
I found the best items to deal with are Katana, Ice Gauntlet, Fire Gauntlet, Whip of Fire, Whip of Ice, Chyuk Norisu Scarf, Lunar Cloak, OMFG and Coco Plushie. They move the fastest.
Though I like buying oddball ones to sell to put into my list of MC's I've sold. It's amusing me to get the list longer, even if I don't get a profit on the item.

Goti Clips: 128,000
Scar of Hero: 23,000
Lunar Cloak: 63,000
Current Total Value: 222,000 gold.
Starting Gold at the outset: 137,000
Total Profit: 85,000 gold
I'll send gold then whenever you want it or when I'm done with the marketplace or have enough to go good without the financial backup. The letter you gave me was a January 2005.
I'm hoping to sell the Goti Clips for a decent amount as they average 134,000-140,000 gold in the marketplace currently. Yay me for finding potential deals!

It's not as hard as some people think. I spend maybe at most a half hour total doing it if I hop on. So that's maybe a few minutes in the morning, maybe a bit at my lunch break and possibly for five or so after work to wind down.
I just deal in certain items instead of trying to watch everything.

It always takes me a while to find a good deal. I can be impatient. I found this Parisian Fan on the MP for like 20k less than the next price. I bought it and just kept it since it was such a good deal and I know I'm gonna use it.

I've been making gold on inks. I get a few free from daily chance & have bought a few lower priced inks to be resold for profit

I've mostly been dealing in Katanas, Norisu Scarves, and Guitars recently. They are very popular and they normally move quickly so I can repurchase a different item and sell it again.

Yeah, no doubt. I don't put a lot of time into it either unless I'm calming my baby son down. On average maybe 1/2 hr a day browsing the marketplace for deals, and this is a few minutes here or there throughout the day. I might check it a bit on my lunch break at work, but normally I'm reading my book.
No update at the moment though. I'm feelin too lazy to do the math because it's hot and very humid here. It's making me tired.
I might have an update later though. Problem going on currently is that the event is slowing the marketplace and the goldsink is causing items to decrease in value rapidly. Fortunately I managed to sell out any items I had before the prices dropped save a Norisu Scarf and an Angelbow.
Both of those should climb up again, but I'm still watching for the odd deal. Scored a nice one last night with a Lunar Cloak. Got it for 53K and sold it for 60k. yayz.
Then I took the profit and bought a G-Bot that was on at a nice price.

Hehehe to be honest my current funding did not go up. I did good for the last week and splurged on two of this month's MC's, bought a G-BOT and bought Willowbark an Angelbow as well as gave her some gold to buy some Event items she was after. I also bought her one of the Anti Von Helson Picket Signs that she really wanted as she's rooting for Edmund.
But yeah, no profit this time around but I got some cool goodies!
I'm also planning on keeping my Lunar Cloak. That takes out a chunk.
But I have more than enough to pay you back if you need it right away, Uma. If not, I'll just keep investing it for a bit to recover from the random purchase spree, heheh.
