Leradien's legs trembled beneath her as she watched Haku dissapear into the forest. This was a common scene, and usually Leradien would rush by his side to comfort him. Yet here she was with a bad and bloodied up wound on her nose and no beloved one to lick in, and she she did it herself, tongue rollign up and lapping at the crusted blood, a fiery pain still present. Sorrow and anger emminated from the seer, radiating into the minds around her. If Haku felt like he was alone, then gosh, Lera must be totally barren of all friends.
Golden eyes gazed off into the distance, her soul floating with them, and only did they come back when Kamali nuzzled the fur on her neck. Her ehad darted and turned towards him, eyes swelling with tears. Yet she kept them from falling and merely bent over to lick to wound on kamali's face, as had Noke done. Yet she only succeeded in spilling more blood onto his face from her own wound. How tragic.
The furious shouting of Gizmos voice was heard, but Lera merely tuned it out, only becomming like static. Lera faced him as well, looking over her shoulder only to see Gizmo fall to the ground. Unlike Haku, Lera wouldn't run. No...she wouldn't run. She turned and moved to Gizmo, standing opposite of him. Her bloodied face lowered, the red life dripping in droplets off of the tip of nose. Yet she nudged his muzzle , all the same, reachign out and touching him with her mind. Stand . Lera's mental voice was merely a whisper, yes smooth like silk, yet held great sorrow.

The soft tone of Kamali's saddened voice tugged at him but the guilt of what he had done stopped him from acknowledging it. This should be him apologising, not Kam-Kam. The minty wolf had done nothing wrong and remained here even after being attacked.
He heard the fading of the paws as his green brother followed Haku and then another, he gazed up, meeting the eyes of Lera. The blood flecked over her muzzle. An image of the past raised up from his memory. Of an injured Lera lying in their den at the freelands. Haku had been there to care for her then...but now?
He finally stood - with great effort - taking comfort in the gentle and strong voice that emanated in the remnants of his mind, which was split with waning anger and growing sadness. Had he really said that? Yes...yes he had. That rage that he had kept away from himself had been gathering up all this time, it had reached its breaking point. Well if Haku would not protect Lera then he would, for she was mother, alpha and friend wrapped all in one.
He moved to press his nose into her neck fur then raised his head to lick at the blood which was starting to dry into her fur. Gizmo...'fraid. He whispered so that none other could hear. If Aeria heard this then she would worry more about the safety of herself and the pups. He had to be strong, he had to become brave and he had to stand up to bullies like Gaara. It would be difficult but not impossible.

Lera nudge gizmo for encouragement as he stood, the shaken up wolf having a horrible time attempting to raise to his paws. Her head raised with his and kept rising until she felt the male push his nose into her neck fur and mumble words for only her ears to hear. Leradien washed the back of his head with one or two strokes of her slamon tongue before Gizmo began to clean at her wounds.
Gizmo...'fraid She heard him hush under his breath, his sadness easily connecting with Lera's mind. The seer continued to contact Gizmo mentally, for fear she too, would break out in sobs. Do not be afraid, her voice would echo in the caverns of his mind, be strong and go to your mate. She needs you. It was then the she-wolf pulled herself away from Gizmo and looked to Aeria, easily sensing the growing minds within her.

Gizmo nodded and drawing in a deep breath he pulled back to gaze at the Seer. Never had he been more happier that she had the powers to look into minds. In such a case where it was hard to speak, such an ability was truly wonderful. He nodded slowly and turned his head to gaze at Aeria, golden eyes strangely lacking life.
Something terrible had happened today.
Would it be possible to heal in time?
He hoped so.
Gizmo do as Lera says... He took a step back, legs quivering slightly from the effort. The decision had been made, his hatred for Gaara openly declared. He had made an enemy today, spoken words of war and that was something that could not be undone. Strangely he did not regret it, for that wolf had killed his brother, injured his friends and threatened to slaughter his pups. He swore silently to himself - though Lera would hear it within his mind - that he would die before any harm came to the pups, and if chance was given he would take that psycho wolf's life.
Was he afraid to die? The answer was surely yes, for he loved life more than anything and would not wish to give it up before his rightful time. However, knowing that his pups - who had not yet found the love of living - were waiting to be born, he realised that there were more important things than his own life.
One question hovered in his mind however. What would Haku choose? To defend Aeria and the pups, or to side with that crazed wolf he called son? He shook his head sadly, ridding himself of those terrible thoughts and moved swiftly to Aeria's side, nudging her gently.
We go find safe place to rest? He asked quietly.

[] Crap. x_X;; I forgot Keara was there. Dx []
The teen came back intime to see her father walk off alone, and her face looked with pure shook. It smelt like that wolf.. Gaara. Narrowing her eyes, she watched her mother and her 'uncle'. Seeing Gizmo go to Aeria, she gave a small whimper, and moved straight to her mother. She wouldn't ask about what happened, she feared that it would upset everyone further. Once near her beloved alpha and mother, she nudged her gently. Even though her father was around her more, she felt closer to Lera. Perhaps it was a mother-daughter thing? Or that Lera knew what she was thinking?
For the first time in her life, the young chatterbox was speachless. Smelling faint blood, her nose scrunched slightly. Had father struck mother? No, there was no way.. Her eyes filled with sadness as she tried to show Lera that she was there. 'I love you, mother.. I promise not to leave..' Closing her eyes, she gave another nudge. Everything was too confusing for her to understand.

Kamali followed Haku's scent to the tiny cave, and slipped in. He was just able to fit, really. His ears wilted and he whined, how could anyone stay in such a small place? He disliked it. "Haku?" He said, cautiously.
His tail wasn't tucked anymore, he no longer feared being submissive to this alpha. "Haku you can't just run and hide." He murmered, body tenst, ready to bold backwards less Haku was offended by the words and tried to snap at him or something.

He probably would have snapped at the male, but he was obviously not in the mood to put up with much else today. He did, however, get up and move out of the cave. Without a word, he plopped onto his butt, his face clearly reading 'Go on, impress me'. He would have been all too content to spend this time alone, but that was apparently something else he'd done wrong. He saw that Kamali was getting much braver now, but the alpha didn't let his head drop in the least bit. He wouldn't hurt Kamali, but he wouldn't allow the male to think he wasn't still proud.
His ear started to flick again, not saying anything to Kamali, still. What was the point in talking to the other male? He wasn't about to be scolded like a small pup who'd hurt his sister or something. His eyes narrowed slightly, waiting for Kamali to leave. He was sure that the green wolf would give in and high tail it out of there if he tried hard enough.
That's just what wolves he knew did.

The two wolves parted, and Lera watched, golden eyes swelling up with tears, as Gizmo moved to his mate's side. Yes...She needed somewhere to rest...it was almost her time. Lera reached out to touch their minds, refreshing them of her old den where she had given birth to her own children. It was not customy to reuse the same dens, or the dens of other females, but her's was pre dug and would providle ample saftey for the night or however long they decided to stay. The revitilized memory would act as a catalyst inside their minds, reigniting the thoughts of where the den was, how to get there, and what it looked like. Yet the seer was quick to turn away from them at the advance of one of her own daughters, Keara. The youth's eyes seemed to swell, pupils dialating in disbelief at the situation. Of course, she knew nothing of what had happened and Lera was hesitant to transfer her memories into her daughter's psyche. That burden should never befall her, having to carry her mother's memories.
The She-wolf looked down to her child, Keara speaking quietly just as Gizmo had earlier. A nudge was given to Lera. The seer opened her mouth to speak but choked, hiccuping on her own words. Initially she had spoken mentally to prevent herself from...well...to not appear, or give off any sign of weakness. Leradien coughed painfully, clearing her throat from the sobs that plagued her and then looked to her daughter, golden eyes locking together. "Don't make promises you cannot keep," Lera said under her breath as she exhaled, obviously promising not to leave. She bent over to lick the crown of her eldest daughter, to put a stop to her sorrow. How could Haku ever find a father son relationship with Gaara now? gaara had changed...and now even lera did not trust him. Gaar was not his son! Gizmo and Kamali were not her sons! FLEANCE was their son...and Keara was their daughter, as was Nile. "I love you too," She managed to murmur between licks, eventually pulling away to survey the scene.
It had turely been an emotional day, one that was suposed to be filled with bliss and hapiness but only ending up with hatred and sorrow. Was it her fault for arriving so late? Gyani...yes Gyani was still there...The she-wolf had remained neutral throughout the entire battle. She didn't need to be involved, no...Leradien didn't want that. Gyani Lera contacted her mentally for the first time, and it would have been a strange experience for the young she-wolf, I am sorry, but please return to the neutral territory, I will see you soon.
It was like a battlefield of war... Yet where was Kamali? Lera had not seen the male slip off after Haku, who Lera had, quite possibly, given up all hope on returning. Noke was a strong wolf, and the couple would return to their packlands together. Lera gave her a nod and then turned back to her daughter. "We should hunt for Aeria," she told her daughter, Lera's tears now hidden behind her steely coat. She used hunting as an escape for the current situation, attempting to change her own focus and to not think of Gaara...or the future.

Kamali winced slightly, moving away. He also sat, but he looked at his paws. He did not want to see the look that clearly stated such strong feelings. What was Kamali supposed to do? He sighed, Haku was acting like a pup. He flicker of a smile slipped onto his mug, it was gone quickly. The thought was just a little.. amusing to him.
"You don't have... anything to say?" He wanted to add to me, but he didn't. He didn't want Haku to tell him that their friendship was ruined. He knew, in the back of his mind, that it was ruined. Or perhaps torn.
It would take a long time to be friends again, Kamali figured.

His eyes narrowed a bit more at this, still unsure of how to word what was happening in his mind. Gaara had been like his son.. The changes the wolf had gone through didn't seem to phase the alpha. It was clear in his mind that Gaara had stayed. But he soon started to realize that he had been treated Kamali more like a prisoner, and less like a 'son'. Gaara really had left too, that's what pups do. They grow up and leave you with torn memories of the past. He had been torn.. Gaara was defended him, defending the pack. The pack wasn't in danger, you twit. He winced slightly as the fight in his mind started to get louder. Soon, he swore he heard a sick faint laughter. Way to go, Brute. You screwed yourself over.
His eyes lifted from the ground up to Kamali again. What was he supposed to say? Apolgize to him.. - No, you did nothing wrong! - Yes you did, Haku! SAY IT! His head was starting to ache.. "I'm.." His head turned away, he couldn't look at the male in front of him anymore. It hurt to know things would never be the way they were again. "Sorry." He'd muttered quietly, rather faint. He wasn't sure if Kamali had actually heard him or not. You fool! He doesn't care if you're sorry! Quit acting like a mopey little brat and show him who's the alpha of these lands. - Run Haku.. Run away, It'll solve everything. But he didn't get up or move. He just stared at a tree.
"Yes, Momma.." Nudging her mother, she let out a sigh.. But she had to ask. Giving a n** to her mother, she starting to think, hoping her mother would pick up on it. Haku had told her all about what a seer was, and that her mother could read thoughts sometimes. Father's gone.. Isn't he? Momma, don't you love him? She felt bad, now. This probably would send her mother further into unwanted emotions. All the young female wanted was to know what was happening. She didn't want her family.. Her mother's pack.. She didn't want everyone to split up. She was afraid of being alone.
She knew Nile had left, did she go with Gaara? Maybe if they split up.. No.. She never cared for Gaara -that- much. He seemed to.. Controling for her taste. Part of her thought her sister was easily whipped. This brought a frown to her features. But she said nothing else as she waited for her mother either to respond or tell her where they were going to hunt. Maybe Aeria's puppies could make Momma smile again. She just wanted everyone happy. Normally, she did this by talking.. But there wasn't much to say, now.

Gyani culden't help but blink, ears twiching as if trying to cach Lera's voice, but it was useless, the voice was in her mind, not the wind. So, Lera was a seer? Gyani had never known ths, and culden't help but get confused, she had never met a seer before. She nodded, managing to whisper a yes, and then a bye, then walking off slowly. She wanted to stay more, understand what was hapening, but perhaps, it was best to ask aboutit, later on, when everone was calm again. Her right ear flicked back, while left tipped forward, Gyani wanted to know if anything happened, or if that Gaara came back. Ye, she wulden't just trot off if she heard a fight, she wuld return, like she had with her old pack, even if they disliked her. But, for once, she didn't think they disliked her, they seemed neutral, but that was all, so far. Gyani wuld wait a few moons and return, see how all was, and perhaps really join them?

The seer gave a parting glance to Gyani, knowing that they would eventually meet again, before begining to move into denser forest with her daughter by her side. Lera felt a n** on her side, but refused to turn her head. At the mental mention of Haku Lera formed a thick sheidl around her mind, pressuring the thoughts of others out from her mind. The block was so strong, in fact, that Keara might have felt a physical push with no direct source. Lera's ears were pinned to the back of her cranium, almost as thought holding back a face of tears and pain. Lera justified this with the thought that they needed to hunt for Gizmo and Aeria. Surely the couple had not eaten much, and Aeria needed her strength.
Lera continued to walk in silence, tail hanging between her ankles, shoulders hunched, and head dropped in deep concentration. Suddenly a flash of images zipped over her eyes, a prediction which was one of a seer's known abilities. They told Lera to head South and it was not long before the two would have found themselves in denser forest which lead to a small clearing where a large heared of elk grazed. Lera's mind switched into hunt mode.
"We need a weakened female, a smaller one that we can carry back..." her voice trailed as a female came into view, smaller than the others but veyr healthy looking. Not the ideal prey...but eh. Normally two wolves, an elder and a youth, could never take on an elk, they were far too big! Ah, but Leradien was a seer. "Keara, you will circle around and make the kill. I will be able to stop the elk in its tracks," and with not another word the seer moved around to the front of the herd.
She dashed, quickly approaching the young elk but skdding to a stop ten feet away, or so. Lera locked eyes with a beastly creature, the youngster rearing up. Elk were stupid animals, but they certainly knew what fear was. She took advantage of this, running her mind through the elk's mind, brinning up every sense of fear that could possibly be brought up. It was like a deer in headlights, the elk's body frozen, it's heart beating faster and faster at dangerously high levels, saliva dipping from its mouth as the white of its eyes showed.
The rest of the herd was long gone by now, and only the young elk remained, looking as if it was in a state of vertigo. Yet lera remained calm, golden eyes locked onto the she-elk. Now...Keara must give it the death blow.

Kamali stood there, ears flicking every now and then, gaze darting from spot to spot. They foccused on Haku when he began to speak, hope growing inside. He just barely heard the second part, and a relieved smile breifly touched his lips.
"Thank you Haku." He whispered, Haku's apology was what he needed right now, mostly.

"Don't thank me." He didn't smile back, though. He wasn't sure what was wrong with him or why his mind suddenly started to go off on him. Part of him figured it was him going insane.. That probably wouldn't end well. Shaking his head, though, he looked over at the green wolf. "Gaara was never like you," His voice was still quiet, he wasn't sure what he was trying to say anymore. This was starting to make his head ache quite bad, and he just wanted to crawl into his cave again. But that wasn't what an alpha would do.. He was tired of running away from things.
"I didn't miss him quite like I missed you.." But that was where he left off. Your pathetic little words don't mean anything now, Haku! His eyes closed as he tried to get the voices to shut up. Give up, Brute. No. he couldn't give up anymore! He'd already lost most everything close to him. He wasn't going to back down this time!
Her lips curled into a smirk, forgetting most everything from before as she circled around the elk. She hadn't hunted very often and was very flattered her mother wanted to spend this time with her. She made sure to stay a good bit away until she was sure that her mother ha dgotten the elk to stay clear. Letting out a growl, she stalked closer to the elk, before using all her might at a dead run. Lifting into the air and leaping at it, she went straight for the neck, feeling her teeth sink into flesh. How she hoped she'd done it right.
Her eyes closed tight as she hit the ground, shaking the bloody mess with all of her might, knowing it would work much better if she broke it's neck. After only a few shakes, a loud crack was heard, and she dropped the flesh, opening her eyes to look at her mother. Licking her blood stained lips, the female only gave a slightly content look. Everything she had learned about hunting was from watching her mother. Her mother was the best hunter she'd ever seen!
