He opened his eyes and looked over at Rena, biting his lip as he thought of asking this question. For a long moment, he debated it, but then he decided it would be better for everyone.
"Rena... May I take custody of Kiwi? I have a house, she can have her own room, I can take care of her, but only if it's alright with you." He said hesitantly.

End it all She quickly looked at him, her eyes huge. She sat there staring at him for a long time then she slowly looked over at the sleeping child. With a sigh she nodded and stood. She fetched the two smaller bags from beside the stairs and dropped them at his feet. "Cryus and his stuff is the blue one. Becareful with that bag or you'll have a pissed of teddy bear to deal with." She wouldn't look at him.  I'm gonna bite my lip

He stood up and looked at her for a few long moments, before finally he wrapped her in a tight hug, holding her close to him. He didn't care how she reacted, he just needed to do it.
"You're always welcome back as well. I didn't want this to happen. And I still want to be with you." His voice cracked a couple times as he fought back the sadness, his body quivering slightly.

End it all Instict was to hug him back but she pushed him away. "I don't belong there anymore." She returned to the window cill, her empty eyes on the moon. "Take her before she wakes." I'm gonna bite my lip

He slowly let go of her, then looked over at Kiwi. He looked back at her and planted a quick, gently kiss on her lips.
"You'll always belong in my home, Rena. And in my heart." He grabbed his coat and walked over to Kiwi, smiling warmly at her and running his fingers through her hair before gently picking her up and wrapping her in his coat.
"I love you... both of you." He whispered just loud enough for Rena to hear.

He laughed softly, knowing her reaction. He smiled and brought Kiwi down to the car, gently setting her in the back seat gently. He went back up and took the two bags, looking over at Rena.

"I guess I'll see you later." He slung the bag without Cyrus over his shoulder and headed for the door. "You're also free to visit any time you want. You still have the key." He headed down to the car, gently putting the bags in the trunk, looking up at the window where she was before climbing into the driver's seat and starting the engine.

He looked back at her window once more before slowly putting it into drive and driving out onto the road.

Into the ocean
End it all Rena wandered down the stairs and stood on the bottom step, looking around. She thought about making breakfast. Then she thought about going back to bed. Then she thought about standing in the street, only to remember that this place is dead empty so she'd have to walk a long time to get to the road where cars would be. She slumped down onto to the stairs. I'm gonna bite my lip
