“Nice job Alex, make sure you come back next week. Or possibly sooner, you always make us good money when you come in. You have all of those girls trailing you around.” Julian, the jazz club owner told Alex. Julian stood next to Alex outside of the jazz club, he was much shorter than Alex, only standing at 5’2. His hair is only forty and his hair is thinning and auburn brown. His eyes were the most interesting thing about him, the left eye was a cerulean blue and the right was a deep forest green. Julian had always claimed that the reason for his first marriage was only because of his eyes. Though, the color of his shirt had always made one eye more dominant than the other, his deep green dress shirt made his green eye more dominant today.

Alex smiled at Julian, his eyes trying to adjust to the light outside of the club. “You can bet on it. Next time I come in I’ll bring in twice as many people.” Alex stated triumphantly.

Julian patted Alex on the back. “We’ll see about that, kid.” he said while he shook his head.

“You could bet the rest of your hair on it.” Alex joked with Julian.

Julian laughed halfheartedly. “Yea, yea.” he paused and then asked curiously, “Are you going to visit that school of yours again?”

“Yea. I haven’t been there in a full thirty-two hours. I’m getting home sick.” Alex said to Julian with a wink. He practically lived at the Canyon View High. That school was his second, well, more like his first home.

“Alright. I hope the best for ya’. I’ll be seeing you around, and make sure you stay true to your bets. I can’t afford to loose any of the hair I barely have.” Julian said as he waved at Alex.

“Alright, old man.” Alex said as he waved back. He lifted the sleeve to his blue collared shirt to see the time on his watch. “Hm, it seems that classes would be in session, but I’m sure there will be someone to hang out with.” he said to himself. He put his helmet on and went on to get on his motorcycle. His motorcycle is something he had great pride in. It is a red 2006 Harley Davidson Fat Boy. It had two side bags and was defiantly big enough for two.

Alex threw himself onto the bike, turned it on, and hit the throttle and he was off towards the Canyon View High. It only took five minutes of speeding to get to the school. He parked in the visiting section and went into the building. He waved to the office clerks who eyed him when he had first walked in. Once, he took off his helmet they knew exactly who it was.

“Would you like to keep your helmet in here Alexander?” Ms. Rhoda, one of the clerks, asked.

“Yes, that would be such a great help.” he said with a smile. He put the helmet on the counter and proceeded to walk out of the door to the main office. “I think I’ll search around for something to do.” Alex said as he left.

“Enjoy yourself, dear.” Ms. Rhoda replied.

She’s such a kind lady. Alex thought to himself. Ms. Rhoda had worked at the school ever since Alex attended. She was an old woman who had to be in her sixties by now. Her hair was a grayish-white and she was wrinkled. Though, her soft blue eyes made her seem like a grandmother you have always wished for.

Alex walked around the outside of the school, looking for any person who might have skipped class. “Damn, everyone is such a goody-two-shoe. I can’t seem to find one person who would skip. I skipped at least one class a day, jeez!” Alex complained as he quickened his pace. He walked for only a few minutes longer when something caught his eye. It was a small black bird with gold tipped wings. He would not have been able to tell that it was a bird, let alone that it had gold tipped wings, but his power to have an element slightly increased his other senses. He stared at the bird, it seemed to be following something. Once Alex looked to the ground below the bird, he saw a girl in a mahogany dress. I wonder if that strange colored bird belongs to her. Alex thought as he walked towards the girl. Once he got close to her he spoke, “Hello, I can’t help but notice that bird following you. It is quick different, I’ve never seen a bird so small and so strangely colored. Would he, by any chance, belong to you?”

[[ 'ooc Teehee ^___^ Sou ka. I feel better then lol. ]]

Serena's eyes flickered to the scars on Caelan's body. Before she knew it, she had reached out to touch them, feeling each on in turn, entranced by it. Her eyes and her fingertips then traveled to the Japanese character that was tattooed onto his chest. She pressed her palm against it gently, feeling a certain heat radiating from his body. It was different from hers in a sense that his body must have been hotter due to his power over fire. Did that mean that hers was naturally cooler in temperature?

"Huh?" she said, his voice calling her out of her wonderment. She realized then that she had pushed him down into a lying down position and had crawled up to be straddling him, her hand upon his chest. Her eyes went wide for a moment before she moved, her movements graceful and quick, like water, like wind. "I'm sorry," she said, her cheeks flushing a certain reddish color. Had anyone walked into their room at that moment, it would have been an interesting sight... A topless Serena and a topless Caelan... With Serena straddling him. Hm...

[[That is one post..If it's length hadn't caught my eye, I never would have noticed that you were talking to me..lol]]

She turns to you smiling. "Why yes..he does.." She says, her silverish grey eyes looking into yours. Her voice was smooth and clear. She looks at Mitsuba and puts out her pointer finger out to allow him to rest on her finger. The small bird lands, puffing up and relaxing, looking like a black and gold puff-ball, only a little bit smaller than a golf ball. "His name is Mitsuba.." She says.
Her eyes wander a bit, looking at the school, then meeting your gaze again. "Are you skipping class too?" she asks, laughing a little bit. She shifts her feet a bit, her heels starting to bother her a bit. "It's just so boring." She says, her smile fading a bit. "I'm just looking for something fun to do.." She says.

Caelan was caught off guard when Serena straddled him and began caressing his chest. He knew he was a human space heater, and always found it amusing when someone reacted, but he had never gotten this reaction. But then, as quick as it happened, it ended, with Serena blushing wildly. Caelan grinned and came up behind Serena, pressing his warm body against her cold body, rubbing her arms. He spoke softly, and in such a way that would cause most women to swoon. Caelan loved to play.
"What's wrong?"

He knew he shouldn't be here idly taking pictures when he knew he was suppose to already be in his new school and happily making new friends while starting a new life in a place he could barely call home. Shuddering at the thought, Niallan knew also that he was hungry but that simple fact didn't seem to bother him much though. In truth, the red head wanted only to be left alone to do the thing he loved best- taking pictures. Although that didn't really match up to the art of cooking, photography had it's own since of beauty as well. Beside- he just couldn't miss this chance. When would he ever have the opportunity again to take such a breathtaking picture? The color was just right and with the sun shining behind him to provide that ghostly appeal, the red head was immediately captivated.

Adjusting the lens of his camera, he quickly click the button and it went off with a snap. "Perfect...," he mumbled, a smile adorning his lip. Lost in thought, it took a while before he came to his sense and check the watch in hand. "Merde!" he cursed and quickly packed up his camera into it's case and swung the bag over his upon his shoulders along with his other bag and hurried out of the park he was in.

It took a while before the nineteen year old found himself standing before the impressively large school building. Although not awed, it was still quite a grandeur. "My new home huh?" Sounding not altogether happy at the thought, he let out a deep breath to calm himself somewhat. Silently adjusting the straps to his bags, he headed up the school's pathway and into the building.

((I know, I started typing and I just couldn't stop. It was like all of my ideas flowed really easy. But, I wish it could be like that for every post. I seem to get writers block more often then I get nice long posts.... lol.))

“Nice to meet you, Mistuba." Alex said to the little golf ball sized bird on the girl’s finger. He looked at the girl's eyes. They were grey, something he hasn't seen in a while. He stared into her eyes for a moment before returning to what he was going to say. “Well, I haven't skipped a class in about one and a half years now." he said smiling. He dug his hands into his jean pockets. "I've already graduated from this school. I just come back to help students and the teachers out. Ya' know with all that balancing the student’s powers and such. I know that it takes a while to get your element under control. I don‘t even have a good grip on the control of my element yet." he rambled on.

Alex paused for a moment and then his face lit up. He took one of his hands out of his jean pocket and used it to wave around as he told the girl what he had to say, "Well, if you want something fun to do, I'm the person to come to.” he said as he pointed to himself. “I know the area really well." Alex a winked at her. His hand, once he was done talking, went back into his jean pocket. Alex's element affected his personality, he felt 'sparks' of excitement when he thought of an idea. His idea was simple, meet a new person and have fun for the day. “Oh, and how rude of me not to introduce myself.” Alex said with a twinge of embarrassment showing on his face. “I am Alexander Marshal. I control the element of electricity.” Once he had stated he controlled electricity, he snapped his fingers together. Blue sparks snapped off of his fingers and made a hissing noise until they disappeared. “What would your name be, miss?” he asked.

[[Yea, I know what you mean..Writers block for me means a few lines..on a good day I'll wright at least two paragraphs..I've never been a very good writer..lol]]

Alice smiles as she notices Alex's eyes light and spark with excitement. "It is a pleasure to meet you Alexander" she says with a slight bow. "My name is Alice..I have the elements of Song and Fire.." she says looking into his intence blue eyes. "I skip class a little bit, but not enough to get me into too much trouble.." she says with an amused giggle. "But it's nice to get out and do something more..ya know?" she says.

Alice points over to a path over on the side of the school "I usualy go out to a hill that the path leads too over there and practice my elements..I just can't seem to get them it right .." she says, her smile fading. Her smile then insantantly comes back as she looks back into your eyes. "So, do you want to go do something fun? I'm just looking for a little bit of excitement.." she asks him. Her shining grey eyes seem to long for something adventerous. Alice breaks the stare as she picks up her small pet gently by the body, waking him up. She blows a small bit of air onto him and he flys away, up to her dorm. "You'll have to lead the way though, I'm not really sure what I'm doing.." she says with a laugh.

((Well, don't worry about it. I started out with one liners and using ** to tell what my actions were. lol. If you start out bad, then it leaves more room for improvement! And each new post is a way to learn new ways of writing. I just like having to have stuff for the other person to read. When I am rping in the beginners section I usually get mad becuase there are a lot of people who use one-liners. Most even claim that is enough writing! Pish-posh is what I tell them.))

Alex noticed that Alice’s smile faded when she talked about her elements. He could remember when he had first known of his power to control electricity. Well, back then, it was not really the power to 'control' electricity. It had been the power to light things up and start things on fire when sparks flew from his hand. To make matters worst, he had been saddened that he would have to go to a new school, and learn a new way of living. Countless nights were spent trying to master his powers, trying his hardest to learn to control the way electricity flowed from his hands. After years of practice he still had not learned how to control all of his powers. He wanted to tell Alice that control takes more time, but decided that he would get her mind off of it with some adventure.

‘Excitement.’ That was the word that Alice used. If she wants excitement, I can get her some of that. But, what would be good to do? He thought to himself. He pondered the possibilities and then he thought of something. He took his hands out of his pockets and ran one through his hair as the other went to his hip. He paused and then he got an idea, as soon as he knew it he began to talk.

“If it is excitement and adventure you would like, then I can provide it for you, Alice.” he told her. His hand came out of his hair and was once again used to emphasize his words. "If you don’t mind skipping your next couple of classes, there are sand dunes not too far from here.” He pointed towards the west as he spoke. “If you would want to, we could go sand boarding. That is so much fun. I know the guy who owns the rental and he would hook us up with equipment.” He smiled. Alex was happy that he made so much friends so easily. It was true that he knew Ronny, the owner of the rental shop at the beach. He had went to school with him at Canyon View. Even though Ronny was three years older than Alex, Alex managed a good friendship with him.

“Or perhaps if you do not want to get sandy and miss the rest of your classes,” he turned his hand upside-down, “you may want to go to the beach. We could hang out there and go do some water things. Skiing, parasailing, cliff diving, and so much more.” Alex told her, using his hand to wave around and around as if he was trying to tell her that there were endless possibilities. He knew the area really well, he has lived here for almost six years. He was an adventurous person at heart and his electric personality led him to do crazy things. “So, Miss Alice, what would you like to do?” he asked with a huge grin on his face.

Victoria noticed that Morgan was starting to get a little queasy. She didn't wanna make her any more uncomfortable, so she looked at Gem for a little. She realized there was still some stomach acid in her frog's stomach. Maybe about an ounce? She didn't really care. Victoria took advantage of the moment that Gem wasn't looking, and squirted some stomach acid on Gem's dead frog. The skin slowly disintegrated into nothing. "Wow. I didn't know stomach acid was so... acidic." Victoria smiled and hoped there was another frog with stomach acid in it's belly so she wouldn't have to cut off the skin. She squirted some on the back of the teacher's jacket, leaving a yellow stain that would probably be pretty hard to get out. Especially the hole it was making. Victoria giggled a bit.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 02, 2008 2:18 pm

Gem turned back from her books to move her frog out of the way and make some more room on the desk, when she saw its skin being eaten away by acid.
"Oh my..." she choked out, feeling her stomach churn. "Jackie, i'll see you later." Gem whispered, grabbing her bag and books and walking up to the front. Putting on her best face, she moaned to the teacher about feeling ill and escaped the biology classroom. Honestly, she didn't feel that sick, but at least this way she didn't have to stare at the poor, slowly dissolving, dead creature anymore.

Serena's breath caught in her throat for a moment as she felt his body press up against hers in a strangely sweet embrace... Was he for real? She knew Caelan liked to play games, but could she say that this could perhaps be going to far? With the soft words spoken close to her ear, she felt a shiver travel up and down her spine, and her head felt light, her vision doubled for a moment. Water and fire in the same room... Could it spell out to be a problem? Especially if that fire could very much heat up the water...? She inhaled quickly, a sharp intake, closing her eyes.

"N-Nothing..." she said softly, stuttering momentarily out of embarrassment, but catching herself. Why would she let herself be played by this man? Shouldn't she be stronger? It would be a silly choice, after all, wouldn't it? She turned her head in his direction so that she could see him out of the corner of her eyes, his appearance contrasting her own. What a strange pairing, people would think, if only they could see what was going on in the confines of the room. "You like to play games, don't you...?" she asked him in an equally soft tone, except hers was more along the line of shy but daring tones.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 02, 2008 6:19 pm

Caelan could see the torment on Serena's face, and inside laughed maniacally. He loved to play, torment, bully, tease, whatever you preferred to call it. He could feel her shivers, see her almost swoon. He was getting good. When he heard her stutter, Caelan knew that she was as good as his. Moving his hands from her arms to her sides, his face inched closer and closer to Serena's, fickle grin still in place. His voice stayed the same, slow, seductive sound, and his touch was very soft, as if he had done this one too many times.
"Now what makes you think that?"

It took a moment for Serena to gather her bearings, a strange occurrence... She never lost it around people... Never lost her elegance or grace. But here she was, in the clutches of a fire controller by the name of Caelan, and he was breaking her down, little by little, the defenses around her slowly deteriorating. She moved, subconsciously, inward toward him, her face now closer to his than it had been before. She could feel the heat of his breath against her face... They were so close... If she just moved a little more...

But Serena's mind had collected itself. She had seen the playfulness in his eyes, which made her realize he had probably done this many a time before, and now Serena was falling trap for it, probably the hundredth girl to fall for it. But no, she would try to fight against it. Fiht fire with fire, right? But, she was no fire elemental... It was water. And so, douse the fire with water, perhaps? And so, her eyes focused intently, yet gently on his, her hand coming up to rest upon his cheek, her mouth opening, forming words in a smooth, gliding rhythm, she smirked a little. "Because I know how much of a jerk you can be... And you're being strangely friendly..." she said with a sort of daring tone in her voice.
