James went straight up to his room and unpacked his things. It felt pretty bare without his data pad; all he had were used uniforms and basic GI necessities. He laid back on his bed and folded his arms under his head, staring at the ceiling.

Jamie stepped into his room to see his room mate on his bed. "Um, hey" He said and set his bag down on his own bad. He did not have much, and he knew he was one of few who had arrived without a state of the art data pad. He only had his uniforms, a sketch book, his sewing kit, and a small memory device that held very little. "So you much be James?" He tried to make conversation as he put his things in the draws.

being pulled out of some already forgotten daydream, James cocked his head up and looked at his rommate. Being on a Mars-class for ever since he could remember (heh) had gotten him pretty used to limited personal space. He recognized the guy from somewhere, and it took him a second to register who it was. "Oh, hey. You're that guy who said you like Star Wars. Listen, you didn't happen to see a data pad on the ground back at the landing dock, did you? I totally dropped it." James yawned and turned onto his side to better look at his roommate without cocking his head.

Jamie shook his head. "No, sorry." Once he was done unpacking he stretched his arms over his head and laid down on his bed. "Maybe one of the other recruits found one?" He offered and closed his eyes wanting to get some sleep before he had to do what ever was planed for him next. He hated the first day of school, it was always a chance for the instructors to try and scare the kids with hard work. He hated hard work it made him look foolish.

As each student entered their room they see two beds sitting against opposite wall in a 12ft by 12ft room with a window at the back. There are two closets each with two school uniforms. The guys' uniforms consist of brown dress shoes, navy blue dress pants, a navy blue dress top, a white dress undershirt, a black tie with the school crest printed on it, white gloves, and a dress hat for special occasions. The girls' uniform is similar except the shoes are black dress heels, the pants can be changed out in place of a navy blue knee length skirt, and the dress top for a navy blue blouse.
Steven looked up as he heard somebody enter the room, and saw a guy starting to unpack his stuff. "You're Morgan Reynolds, right?" Steven said sitting down on the bed he had claimed for himself.

"Last time I checked, yeah," Morgan agreed. "Which would make you Steven, presumably." He tossed his card case onto the bed closer to the window. "Dibs." He checked his face for hairs and found none. "Fun day, huh?" he commented dryly.

[[ if that's in reference to our belongings, I have old uniforms because those are my 'civys'. It's the only clothes my character really has. ]]
James rolled back over to stare at the ceiling once again, sighing in disappointment. "Yeh, maybe." he half-grumbled, closing his eyes. For reference, he totally hadn't heard the instructor tell them they had to be out in 30 minutes. The long trip to the academy had tired him out, and he was quite willing to take advantage of an opportunity to finally lay down.

"Yup, I am Steven Kerning. And go ahead I already have this bed," Steven responded casually as he subconciously stroked his stubble. "I am looking forward to the tour we are going to go on. You?"

Meryl casually walked up to the board with the room assignments after trailing behind the main group. "Room 401. With Rhiannon? That is a funny name," she said absentmindedly as she scanned the board. "Guess I will go unpack then." She turned to leave when she saw a girl coming out of the building looking quite miffed. Normally she would just ignore it and move on, but hey, she was feeling bored. "Hey there," Meryl said as she got close to the girl.

"Hrm?" Rhiannon muttered, looking up from the ground, her expression changing to puzzled Would you look at that, Another girl. Finally this day's looking Bet- and then Rhiannon noticed the other girl's build. Quite odd, even to Rhiannon, who was no suzie herself when it cam to muscles, but Rhiannon was still more womanly shaped than this girl. "Hey" the young Pilot recruit answered.

"My name is Meryl," she said with a strong bravdo. True, Meryl was more muscular than most women, even a few men, and she carried and presented herself in an almost boyish fashion which she pick up from her brothers. "What's your name?"

"I'm Rhiannon Bell, Nice to meet you, Meryl." Rhiannon responded politely. It seemed like a bad Idea to be rude to someone like Meryl. She knew how easy it was for Girls to snap (Being one herself) Yet one with muscles like that could be particularly deadly. Rhiannon also noticed something else. As Effeminate as that 'Jamie' Guy seemed to be, Meryl Certainly was Masculine. it's like they were here to balance one another out or something.

((Meryl is muscular relatively speaking, compared to other girls she is muscular))
"You are Rhiannon?" Meryl said looking Rhiannon over, "You are staying in room 401, right? I am your room mate then. Imagine that. The person I randomly stop to speak with is my roomie. You already done unpacking?"
