Balrog the Clown Gear, looking at that I'd say... well... GML insignia contest, anyone? Bboy, I'll get to work on that soon. It's not that I have pressing matters in RL or GML that come before hand, but rather that I'm an a** who gets easily distracted, especially by certain video games. You'll get the ID card, though, so don't worry. Been there, Do that. Can it be an insignia that is used by say a game or do we have to make one up?

If you don't have P-shop, you can get Gimp, which is a free P-shop clone with almost all the same functionality.

rondonitsme hey i want one sir pirate First page. Application process. READ IT. As far as the insignia goes, I'd say hold the contest in its own thread. I'm sure Gear or Wielder would rather handle that personally. (Making said contest, that is.) Otherwise my main two cents to throw into it would be no establish insignias used in any video games or real-life corporations because we don't want to risk false association, so all insignias should be personally made. Beyond this I'm sure Gear or Wielder would be the ones to ask about any other ground rules for this. I've decided that I'm going to put the ID cards on hold until this is done, as well as having the redesign completed. If you're curious, I'm looking at my actual military ID card for inspiration and influences and as such there MIGHT be a 'reverse side' to the ID cards.

(sorry, I just love pointing out typos that change the meaning of the whole statement.) well I /defiantly/ agree with you =P, and yeah I've used Gimp, but I have no idea how to make it do photoshop like things, though i can make animations with it XD. To me it seems like p-brush with a few more tools. I need to fiddle with it some more I guess.

I'm going to put the contest in planning stages. I'll have something solid in the next couple of days, hopefully.
@Aiusagi: The key to photoshop or gimp is layers. You can use them to make edits to portions of the image without affecting other parts. That's really what makes those programs so darned irreplaceable, in my opinion.

Also, everyone's should say "Armeekorps" unless they are a part of the following: Department of Intelligence Department of R&D Department of Advertising Client (if they joined only to hire our services, not to be a merc) Department of Roleplay Most of the departments are shut down...I think the only one still up that accepts members is Intel. War and Missions is strictly run by the TOC, so everyone should either be Intel or Armeekorps. Aiusagi, now that you're crew, I'll be handling your ID cards. I'll have yours up, soon. Hmmm. I was wondering. Instead of mine saying "Armeekorps", could mine say "Department of Criminal Justice"? I like the looks of that better is all.

The new ID card layout will include any department within the GML to which you staff, which means it's NOT random. Unless the GML has a Department of Criminal Justice and you're a member of said department you're stuck with Armeekorps.
