Lady Pyre Speaking of retro... I finally found my dragon dagger. But we moved in such a hurry, I didn't take the batteries out of any electronics, and since it's been a good six years... crying I can usually pry the corroded batteries out, but not this time. *sobsob* It shall never play "Go Go Power Rangers" again. Rock.

I liked Power Rangers, but Voltron was where it was at.
The lion toys were made out of metal. Voltron > Megazord even if the Zord was bigger.

My siblings and I would always pretend to be the Power Rangers. I really wanted to be the Yellow Ranger, but my older sister trumped me and I always got stuck as the Black Ranger. And then the Green Ranger came along and we stopped pretending that, 'cause my other sisters and I got annoyed that my brother got to be two of them (red and green).

Haha. In elementary school, we had a four-square "team" and each one of us was a different power ranger. I was the yellow ranger and started this series of really lame superstitious actions. Fist square = morph. Second square = call zord. Third square = call megazord. Server =call carrier zord (WTF was the purpose of that thing anyways?)
We had great fun kicking the s**t out of each other, too. ^_^

Agh, the Yellow Ranger was my idol. She was smart and pretty, and Vietnamese too.
But my friends and I conjecture about the coincidence of her being the "yellow" ranger.

(edit: in case it's not obvious, this is a desaturated picture. I'm not that colourless. lol) haha, i haven't been around in forever i have a hard time sitting still at the computer cos my back starts hurting pretty quick cos my computer chair has no back support. I'm just waiting to pop at this point. I waddle like I've got a watermelon between my legs, because I pretty much do. I'm not feeling particularly fat because at this point I eat for the right to keep my a**. I started losing body fat fast in third trimester, and I have a lot of self-control when it comes to cravings, and not a huge appetite. Then I got sick and my a** fell off. Finally got it back, and if I lose it again I'll probably fall on my face from being so poorly balanced. gonk For a slideshow of me from pre-pregnancy to now, you can go here: http://chris-n-lor06.spaces.live.com/I don't know if it will work though, I don't think my profile is private but i dunno i don't play with it much, it's mostly for family. It's poorly updated. OHYEAH and chris and i bought a property just outside the city and he's building a house. I say 'he' because I will be cheering him on from afar and not partaking in the building process. We're killing lots of trees right now. I hope that offends somebody, just because I'm a little cranky. But they're just poplars.

She just didn't have that useless, girly skirt thing. >_< Yes, the original yellow ranger was of Asian heritage. The original black ranger was black. Then they switched the two. And when Tommy became the red ranger (because one color just is not enough for him) it was revealed that he was actually Native American. What the hell, man?

I don't know much about power rangers. As kids, we weren't allowed to watch Power Rangers or Ninja Turtles because my parents felt it promoted violence. By we, I mean me and my two brothers, aka 'the big kids' ... with six of us, we got classified 'the big kids' and 'the little kids' ... as 'the big kids' we didn't mind the titles and used them ourselves, haha. Now 'the little kids' (who are now 10, 13, and 15 and about to be 11, 14, and 15) are just 'the kids' and watch CSI, except for the youngest, a boy, who doesn't like it. And they've watched it since it came on TV, along with whatever else they want. Because as parents get older and so do thier kids, they realize that being really strict doesn't necessarily make for perfect kids. Of the three oldest, I'm probably the most 'ideal' but i did move out of the house and have a big fight with my parents to achieve the independence to be myself. So perhaps that helped my parents realize that overparenting is just as bad as underparenting.
But I do think the youngest sibling could use a good smack upside the head once in a while, I'm not gonna lie.

Lor, you look absolutely beautiful. (Uncomfortable, but beautiful.)
And I know what you mean about the Power Rangers/Ninja Turtles thing. What minimal knowledge I have comes from sneaking over to the neighbor's house and watching cartoons and playing video games. I didn't have a gaming platform until last December, and it's just a SuperNintendo from like, 1990.
