Ace flipped the card in his fingers, looked at it for a few seconds, then shoved it in his pocket. After that, he went in to check on Kikyo. "How are things coming along?" He looked at the stuff they brought back from the store. "It worked like a charm, didn't it? He's not even up yet. He sleeps like a rock." He scuffed his shoe on the floor and thought about what to say.

"He might seem sorta creepy, but he's a good guy overall, he just doesn't connect like other people." He put a hand on her shoulder. "I know you think ill of him, but just give him a chance." He moved his hand from her shoulder and rubbed the top of her head, retreating to his room shortly after.

The officers were backed up against the wall of a drugstore. Sweat glistened on their faces, and the were clutching their guns tightly. Those weapons were useless in this situation, but at least they gave the people a sense of security. "What the hell are we gonna do, Russ?" One officer whispered fervently to another.
"Shut up, Slate!" Russ hissed back. "We can't let the hostages see we're scared. If they do, all hope is lost."
Russ darted a glance on his other side, where two more policemen were in a similar pose. They arrived 'just in time to help'. Translation: They arrived just in time to find out that they were powerless.

The officers gave a start as a rasping cackle filled the air. "Oh, don't worry, men. I wasn't planning to harm the hostages. In fact, you can have them back." The hostages' faces were masks of shock and confusion.
"All I ask in return is that you...spread the word. Make my name known in all corners of the city."
One of the officers was bold enough to ask, "And what name would that be?"
A malicious smile spread under the cover of the apparition's black hood. "Wraith. Call me Wraith."

Spooky noticed the commotion and decided to have some fun. He walk in to the drugstore pretending nothings was wrong. "Yo my head hurts, give me some vicodin that sure will help." As he smiled at Wraith, he went up to him. "Hurry up your the slowest guy I ever met, you know what I'll get them my self." Spooky jumped over the counter grabbed some pills and began to walk out.

Alex turned off his music and hopped out his window. "Master Deck! King!" he yelled landing in his armor on the ground. He stood and quickly ran around the house, following Kikyo.

As Spooky walked out, an officer points a gun at him. Spooky's face went to a serious look. "Who do you think your pointing at?" With confusion the officer said "On the ground now." Spooky summoned his gun and points it at the officer. "Now now, what happens if you keep pointing that toy at me. Im sure we can come to terms, I spare your life and you let that girl do her job." Scared the officer sensed a presences that made him say "Let the girl by!" As Spooky put away his gun he walks up to Kikyo "Dont mess it up" and he walks off.

Kikyo nodded and walked inside the store. She walked over to Wraith.
"So you the one who's been causing trouble in this city?!" she snapped, eyes narrowing.

"Well, isn't this nice," Wraith rasped as he looked at the people before him. "More freaks have come to join the party." Turning to the hostages, he snarled, "What are you still doing here? Get out of my sight. You too." The hostages scampered away, screaming. It took a moment for the police officers to realize that the "you too" was directed at them, and then they too scampered off, babbling that they had to protect the hostages.

Wraith turned back to the others. He adjusted his hood, then folded his black-robed arms. He spoke with a sarcastic tone. "I knew that I would see more freaks like myself as soon as I made myself public. As for my name, you don't need to know that, but you may call me Wraith. Oh, and put your swords away, kids. You wouldn't want anyone to get hurt." To punctuate this, he pulled out a weapon that was strapped to his back. It was a scythe, with a night-black shaft and a blade that reflected no light.
