Grave wasn't in a mood to deal with any annoyances today. He drew his pistol and put to the man's head. "I asked nicely, now I'm not asking at all. I demand that you leave now."

Alice's eyes jerked toward the sheriff, who was looking inside a shop window just a couple dozen yards away. "Put. It. Away." Blue eyes were glued onto the man who seemed a couple dozen pounds too heavy for his profession.

(couple dozens. *blinks.*))
: He stopped smirking when the barrel was pressed to his head. He took a deep breath and looked at the man, and pursed his lips as he tapped his chin. "Hmmm...." He was thinking it over and smiled. "As the lady said, curiosity killed the cat... and this cat still has.... Oh.." He paused and counted on his chin. "...Seven or Six."

Karber flinched into the store at seeing the gun being pulled out, she back up to the counter clutching her pack to her chest as she sat under the lip. The clerk Looked up curiously and saw the people outside. Reaching for his own gun under the cuonter, he motioned for karber to use the back door which she scrambled to and out.

Grave ignored the protests. He ignored the clerk with the gun. As far as he was concerned, he was in the right. "You want to test those lives out? You wouldn't be the first person I'd have splattered across the front of me." He watched as the clerk stepped back after hearing this. Especially after he showed his second gun out. He didn't acknowledge the clerks gun being unloaded, though he heard it. The sheriff either didn't notice, or did a real good job of pretending not to. He wasn't fit for the job. He was just too oblivious to be of any effect in it.

: He sighed and looked at him. "Oh look it's noon." He looked over Grave's shoulders at the clock as the bells started tolling. He quirked a brow and then looked back at Grave. "Best time of day for a withdrawal, don't you say?"

Grave's finger twitched on the trigger at that and the hammer came halfway back, but he stopped. The hammer went back into its neutral spot. He lowered his gun from the center of the man's head and went to a nearby chair. He sat down and placed his head in his hands as he reholstered his gun. He had lost himself for a moment there. Almost went against his name and all that it resembled. "Not today. Not today." He had already blown it for them. No doubt the cashiers at the bank had locked the vault already, fearing that they would come into the bank to rob it. And Grave didn't have any dynamite handy. "I blew it."

: "Yeah, but tonight's even better." He said and turned walking off towards the clock tower. "Just get some rest you two." He laughed and waved his hand dust catching his fingers as a wind blew and made it look like his hand was fading out into dust. He disappeared around another corner into an alley.

Karber's curiosity had got the better of her and she had been watching, she back peddled quickly as the man turned down her alley instead of walking past, she stumbled and fell still clutching her pack, and crindged on the ground trying her best to think invisable thoughts.

: Dust stopped when he stepped next to her and looked down. "You okay kid?" He asked pushing his coat back as he turned and let it slide back into place. He tilted his head looking at her.

Karber's expression was one of confusion and fear, she flinched at his voice and stared back up at him with her large amber eyes, She said nothing, What would she say? did he even speak Lacota? still she waited for him to yell at her or throw something, she would be properly afraid and run back to her shelter in the desert.

: "Injin?" He said and wracked his brain trying to think back to what he new from his time in the desert. There was nothing except passing the wrong tribe here and there and barely scraping by with a few scratches. "Not mean. Want to help." He spoke slowly hoping she'd understand something.

A look clouded over Karber's face, something between anger and sadness. She shook her head, Saying in a very small very soft voice "No...Family" She was a Half-blood b*****d who'd want her? Her father skipped out and her mother died birthing...so common. and noone had cared past weaning.
