Daemon smiled at the kiss, nodding bravely. His golden eyes gazed into hers peacefully and his smile went almost sleepy. He heard a gentle bell toll and glanced back. "Dinners ready," Daemon said softly. "follow me"
The young noble would lead Aludra through several expensive yet tastefully decorated halls, finally leading her to a room with a grand table. The table was edged with gold, and in the centre of the table was the SaDiablo crest in the aforementioned substance. Daemon flicked a brief glance at the candles on the table. A gentle scent of apples hung on the air and Daemon sighed contentedly.
It was great to be home.

Daemon shook his head, holding out a chair for Aludra. "No. That's the rooms scent." he pointed out at the window. An apple tree was just visible. "there's your cause, However it IS possible Simon made apple pie."
Daemon moved to his own seat, just as Simon entered. He bowed once then snapped his fingers. Before the two, appeared a plate with Pork Chop and mashed potatoes. Daemon smiled at the sight. Simon had pulled out all the stops.
"thank you, my friend." Daemon purred, "will you join us with your own dinner?"
Simon nodded, taking a seat at the table and calling in his own pork chop.

Daemon's eyes glittered at the idea. "You like that idea, Simon?"
The male ate in his usual polite manor, speaking with his mouth empty.
"a chance to make more friends is always nice," Simon replied vaguely stiffly. He wasn't sure if the words were an insult. Sure, the girl seemed o like his cooking, but maybe her request he meet other elves was a critisism. Simon kept his face neutral and replied "Simon will do as young master SaDiablo asks"

Daemon frowned almost invisibly, noting the use of the title. "anyway. When do you wish for this visit?" Daemon asked the female politely.

Daemon turned his head slowly to Simon, his plate now empty. "Thank you, Simon. I greatly missed your cooking while I was away."
Simon nodded slowly, then more eagerly. "I made apple pie!" he announced, darting from the table.

He returned a moment later with a pie. A snap of his long fingers replaced the dirty plates and cutlery with clean ones, then placed the already cut pie on the table.
Daemon breathed in deep. The pie smelt delicious. Simon set out a piece each. "Does miss Aludra need cream or ice-cream?" he asked the female.

Daemon stared at his pie, his hunger suddenly fading. He looked up, watching Simon use magic to add cream. Slowly, the male reached for his water, taking a delicate sip. He flicked his eyes up at the female again then bit his lip. "I," he begun slowly, then looked back at his pie. "I don't know. I... I just don't know. We'll have to improvise.."

Daemon nodded miserably, finally picking up his fork to eat hi pie. He noticed idly how it was better than usual and smiled faintly. Trust Simon to pull out the stops.

Slowly the male cleared his throat, about to speak when Simon pipped in "Truth. Always truth. Lies break world, Mistress!"
Daemon closed his mouth. The elf had quoted his quote perfectly.

Daemon returned the look coldly, not liking how she worded it. SHE was the one who came onto him and helped caused this. Their parts were equal.
Annoyed, he rose. "We should get to yours. Will we set out now?"

Simon flashed the female a hurt look. "Simon thought he was invited.." he said softly. He gathered the plates slowly then left the room sadly.
'"honesty is the best policy'," Daemon quoted dryly. "I'm good at long range apperation. Have ye a picture of your home, or is it by a city we can go to that will give you the chance to get us to the house?"
His tone was polite. His eyes, half closed, looked at nothing.
