"Clever ministry." he muttered, hobbling over to Telia "Ministry has made professor do this. Miss Telia has been marked. Miss Telia is not a pureblood." Atos touched her arm experimentally and grimaced. He looked as if he didn't want to offer it, but he looked up at her anyway "Atos can remove the curse from Miss Telia. Curse is strong, but Atos might be stronger."Professor Eric Papers Sometimes I get confused on whether I'm a free bird...
He looked horrified. It had felt so good to mark Telia, but he hated the idea of doing that to her. I marked her, what does that mean? What will happen to her now? The professor stood up and pulled at his hair, angry at himself. How dare he enjoy marking someone because of their parents? He hated himself and slid down to his knees in frustration. What could he do?

I'm a half-blood and the pure-bloods are usually only looking for muggle-born witches and wizards. I won't be of any interest to them." She wasn't very certain about how true the words were, but she said them anyway. "Besides, I can lie my way out if I have to. I did for the war with the centaurs, remember?" She winked and smiled, but the smile didn't reach her eyes, which showed just how much pain she was really in.

Professor Eric Papers Sometimes I get confused on whether I'm a free bird...
He hit the floor angrily "Don't act like this is ok!" he snapped "What if I touch other students? What if a student brushes past me? If I touch anyone, they'll feel the way you do right now." The professor scowled angrily If Everard was here now, I'd kill him! He looked up with eagle eyes at Atos "Can you get rid of it?" he demanded.

He knew that the professor wouldn't be happy until he'd attempted it, so he attempted pulling at the curse, but it pulled back and whipped him mentally. With a yelp, he pulled back "No way." he took a shaky breath "Professor could buy dragonskin. Dragonskin repels magic, mostly." he offered

The Bookworm Maddy Sorry! Stupid standardized tests! Brain mush! Telia bit her lip nervously, as the pain slowly faded away from her arm. She poked at the strange coloring on her arm, but it refused to even fade. She grimaced thoughtfully and pulled out her wand, summoning her dragonskin gloves and a long-sleeved sweatshirt. She pulled on the sweatshirt, hiding the orange glow, before she held out the gloves towards Atos. "So dragonskin gloves would work? We can buy them from Hogsmeade no problem. We could even tell people that he got some kind of contagious rash or something like that." She cocked her head. "But how do we know if they'll work? If only we had a test subject..." she thought aloud.

He didn't look at Telia and Atos as they talked, he just looked at his hands like he'd lost his mind. "Maybe I should just quit, and stay away from everyone." he whispered, and closed his eyes.

Wand type: 12.5" Yew, Dragon Heartstring Atos heard the remark, and immediately replied "Atos knows professors who would take his place." Then his eyes widened "Bad Atos! How could Atos say such a thing?" he looked around and ran over to a table, but then just stood in front of it. He looked like he was bursting for the toilet, squirming like a child. He rolled his eyes and whacked Atos's head into the table hard "Give up with self-harm, ok? Everyone knows you can't do it." He smiled slightly Everyone knows you can't do it, is that what Everard is counting on? "I already knew that Atos, I guess. I just don't want to be the guy that does it." the professor stood up and swallowed bravely "I can beat this, whatever it takes!" he turned to Telia "Let's go shopping!"

Telia's brows furrowed as the professor slammed Atos' head into the desh, but she kept her mouth shut and looked away to avoid yet another argument. She brightened considerably however when Professor Papers started talking about beating this. She turned so quickly that she almost injured her neck. "Really? Awesome! Let's go shopping!" She spun in place and morphed before running for the door. She paused there and barked impatiently before running for Hogsmeade. ~Exit to Hogsmeade~

He watched her leave and panicked. He quickly morphed and flew out after her, shrieking to her all the way to Hogsmeade "Are you sure you're ready to face so many people? Your senses might be overwhelmed! I hope you know what you're doing!" And so on. [exit to Hogsmeade]

He hummed as he walked in and settled down in his chair again. "What should I do now?" the professor asked despondently "For the first time, I honestly don't know what to do next."

Telia morphed back into her normal form and settled down in a chair opposite Professor Papers. "Well, I would think the first thing to do is talk to another professor. Probably either Defense Against the Dark Arts or Headmistress Woodrynth, But I'm just a student, and a Gryffindor at that so I'm probably blinded in some way." She averted her eyes and a frustrated blush rose up her neck and lit her ears. She picked up her bag of purchases and pulled out the earrings she had bought, popping them into her ears. She picked up the necklace and smiled when it shifted, revealing blue forget-me-nots before she placed the necklace carefully back in the bag.

He blinked as ideas rushed to his head "That's it! Other professors!" he leaped up, but then hurriedly sat down and looked around suspiciously "I'll find out what they're up to, and then we can tell Headmistress Woodrynth about it." he whispered "She won't be able to go to the Ministry, but at least we'll be prepared!" the professor was ecstatic about his idea "We could be one step ahead of them all the time!"

Telia nodded and wiped a hand across her forehead. Her face and neck were beaded with sweat from the transformations and the long walks back and forth. Her brow wrinkled with confusion and she cocked her head. "Sir? Are you alright? The other professor won't try to do this to you. They want to help you and so does Headmistress Woodrynth and so do I." She stood up, wincing at the sharp pain in her feet where she suspected shards of glass were still imbedded, and walked slowly and painfully over to Professor Papers. "Just calm down and breath sir," she gently instructed.

Telia nodded quickly, trying to appease the agitated professor. "Okay sir. But if there are other professors working for the ministry, don't you think they would know what the ministry did to you? Then they would be far less helpful. They might even let the Ministry know that you've already Marked a student." She rubbed the sleeve of her sweatshirt awkwardly and tried for a weak smile. "I think you have to take this right to Headmistress Woodrynth and ask her advice."

He thought for a moment, before he slowly shook his head "She'll fire me, or suspend me from teaching." Professor Papers stated "It's the smartest thing to do, if you know that about someone." he thrummed his fingers on the desk nervously If she fired me, Everard would find me in days. "What should I do Telia? I don't want to just sit here and hope that everything will be all right, I want to make sure that everything will be all right!"
