Casalure smiled and paced over to Rounce, grinning.. It was good to have a male his age.. Maybe they would spar one day.. Test each other's strength.. Anything to forget about Aveshar for a few hours... Rounce was a good lion, a good friend. "How about we wait for my father to get a bit closer, and then walk together for awhile, Rounce? I'd like a companion for a few hours, and I think a walk would do us both some good, hmmm?" He canted his head in question, noting his father already approached...

Rounce grinned a bit as well. "Sounds good." He could bare the chilly weather for a bit, right? He was a warrior after all, he'd have faced worse. He glanced at his king and bowed his head, already seeing that he'd not found anything in his expression.
He then glanced back into the den. Where was Sky Dance? He looked worried for a second, but he pushed that aside. Sky was quite capable of taking care of herself. He was sure that she would be here when he got back. Maybe he would even see her on the walk.

Ballad gave both young males a smile, though it was weary and somewhat sad... A true smile lit his face at the sight of his mate, but he still looked tired. Pulling his gaze away from Whistle for a moment, he considered his son. "Off for a walk Cas?" He asked softly.
"If you'll keep an eye on Dancer, then I though Rounce and I would." Casalure nodded, nosing his father gently. "Maybe look for SkyDance while we're out?" He glanced at Rounce and smiled. "And maybe Tessa.. But I think she's beyond the lands for now..."
Ballad nodded at both males. "Go then, enjoy the evening... I'll keep an eye on the Pride..." He smiled and gave his son a gentle push, then paced to his Queen's side, purring heartily. Laying at her back he curled around her, resting his head on her shoulder and eyeing his family happily.

Sumner hadn't been back at the den for quite some time. Granted, he had remained inside the borders, no desire or need to wander out, but kept as far from the den as possible, simply needing a break. He was a wanderer at heart still, and needed time away from the other lions of the pride.
His mind wandered to the lioness he had met so long ago... what had happened to their meetings? How he missed her!
With a heavy sigh, he decided he had better return to the den. He was soaked from the storm anyway, and wouldn't mind a warm place to rest for a bit. He sure had become spoiled...

Being a newcomer to the pride, even if with a warm welcome by Ballad, Sky Dancer felt like she was intruding on this time of grief and sorrow. She had only heard of the missing prince, and despite feeling her heart heavy, it couldn't mesure up to the hearts' of the others. It just wasn't the right time, and so the young lioness had taken the excuse of getting to know the lands to slink away from the den. For once, Sky Dance just didn't know what to say.
However, it hadn't mattered much during the day. At first, the mild rain was fun, leaping from puddle to puddle, water splashing. As it got heavier and the storm kicked up though, Sky Dance went for the nearest cover, a stranded patch of trees lost in the middle of the savannah, whincing at each roaring thunder, frozen on spot. How she hated storms... they'd caused her to get separated from her parents... and were overall plain scary. Now, cold and shivering, the turquoise princess looked around from what had been her safe spot. She wasn't familiar enough with the lands to find her way during the night, and every scent had been washed away with the rain. "Damn storms..." Maybe if she stood there someone'd see her and take her back, even if she was 'height-impaired'...

On his way back to the den, Sumner caught a familiar scent. "...Sky Dancer?" They hadn't talked at all, but he knew her to be a part of the pride. "Are you nearby?" He searched through the darkness for any sign of her, but to no avail. It was dark!

"Atchoo!" A sneeze replied to Sumner, followed by a bit of sniffling and a grumbled 'Darn it, just what I needed, a cold...' She followed the sound of his voice, until a darker mass defined itself in front of her. Should Sky Dance not have seen him before, she'd be scared to death of encountering a large, dark pelted lion during the night... "I'm here, Sumner, sir... Sorry to bother you, but I can't find my way-"
SPLASH!
A deeper puddle caught Sky Dance by surprise. It seemed almost on purpose... Almost. "Dammit!!!"

Songstress smiled as she stepped into the pride of her father. At her back stood the handsome angelic male she had stumbled across in her wanderings... Stumbled across and fallen for. She was quite in love with this male, which is the only reason she had allowed him to fly her home. If she had brought anyone who meant less to her, she knew her father and brother would skin that male alive. "Come on then." She murmured to Halo, knowing he was not crazy about this idea. A soft roar announced her return, and she stepped into her father's lands.

Halo followed her quietly. He nodded, his form sturdy and regal. On the inside, however, he was a wreck. Songstress' family, from what he heard, was a tight knit group. He would have to pass through all of them in order to get his love. Well, if that's what it took, then he would do it. However, as she crossed into the boarder, he stopped at the edge knowing full well not to come in without permission. He didn't want to screw up on first meeting.

Songstress tossed her mate a look over one shoulder, arching her brow at him. She couldn't present him to the pride if he wouldn't enter the lands... Ballad was rather busy.. He couldn't come down to meet them, no matter how much he wanted to... He wouldn't leave the den unsupervised, not after what happened with her younger brother... "Halo..." She sighed.
Casalure appeared out of the mist and rain, smiling at his younger sister. His eyes glinted eerily as he turned his gaze to the male at her back, and one ear pinned. He considered the stranger, then nodded his head slightly. "Welcome Tessa, Sister Dear... And your guest... I and Rounce were planning to go on a walk, but I'll escourt you to the Den first..." He smiled at Halo. "I'm Casalure, the Storm's Singer..."

Sumner snickered, even though he had gotten splashed - he was soaked as it was. "It's fine - I was on my way back as well," he replied, stifling any further laughter. "It's too wet out to wander now..." His last little bit has a catatonic feel to it, as though he weren't there in the pride when he said it.

Halo bowed respectfully to Casalure. "I am Halo, the Blue Angel and Prince of Whispers in the Dark" He gave a slight smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Casalure." He got up and slowly walked into the lands, looking over at Songstress to give her a gentle and reassuring smile. He looked back over to Casalure. "Lead the way, then. I look forward to meeting the rest of the family."

Casalure straightened slightly, eyeing the new male. A Prince? Oh of course Tessa would bring a Prince back to the Pride. The Prince of Temple's Decorations, it's only adult aside from the king, felt a bolt of unsurety go through him. He shook it off. "Well met Halo, Beloved of the Music's Muse..." He rumbled with a faint bow. "Follow me to the Heart of Temple's Decorations, and we will see what we will see..." He turned away and began pacing toward the heart of the Pride, head up and every line proud, confident...
Songstress nosed her mate and followed her brother, moving up to his left side and murmuring a soft greeting. She was rewarded with a smile which she returned, and then glanced back at her mate. "Alright?"
Ballad was awake and pacing the den, eyeing his mate and cubs, the mouth of the den, back and forth.. Back and forth... Whistle was no longer sleeping, but awake and watching him with knowing eyes. She knew he worried needlessly, and so did he.. But one of his daughters had brought a male here.. In love? So soon? His little Songstress....

He gave a gentle smile at Songstress, but kept his distance behind them. Far enough for privacy, but close enough to not seem meek. His held was held high and every inch of him was regal and "princely". At her question, he simply nodded, not trusting his voice at the moment.
For there, in the distance pacing back and forth, was Songstress' father. And Daddy didn't seem to happy about the guest his young daughter brought home...

Tala sat not to far, spotting the princess and prince, along with a guest, not long after Ballad. His eyebrow raised slightly, the King seemed to be getting quite...worried? That was daddy for you. Tessa was his little girl. Of course he'd be worried. But for some reason, glancing at the male, Tala had a feeling that things were going to be alright.
