Personally it is the BEST horror series EVER. Freddy is so cool even though he is evil. He beats Jason in everything from acting to killing. I reckon the first movie and Wes Cravens New Nightmare were possibly the best one's from the series.
My friends and I were discussing the possibility of making the series again. It would be good coz more people would watch it but you could never replace Robert Englund as Freddy. It's impossible.

For all you Freddy fans check out my A Nightmare on Elm Street Role Play.

A Nightmare on elm Street has to be one of my fave horror movies ever! But I think only 1, 2, 3 and Wes Carvens "New Nightmare" are worth watching. The others are kind of anoying.

3 definately started the ball rolling dowhill for the Elm street series. I also enjoyed A New Nightmare, it was nice to see a menacing Freddy again, rather than a comic book villain equipped with a never ending supply of goofy one liners.

Very true.

"Freadys Dead: The Final Nightmare" was probobly the worst. I meen, fready as a witch? Randomly pushing a bed of spikes beneath a falling guy? Just stupid if you ask me.

I always liked freddy because he has fun killing you and he can't die because you can't kill dreams. twisted

i thought the series was good and had great actors like the guy that played Freddy and you got to love his catch fraze "die B****"

Well... I enjoyed the first and third movies... all the rest were decent... but I seriously thought the second was lame. The boy gets blamed for making the bird go crazy and then combusting.

freddy is the king of horror/comidy. I think i stayed up for 24 hours after I saw the part in #3 where he ripped the veins out of that one kid, walked him around the mental hospital, and then pushed him off an 18 storie building. I rember reading that he was supposed to be 13, but they changed it to 16 because nobody wanted to see that happen to a kid. Its a shame too, because that would have been cool to see freddy trash a kid my age.
