Brandon put on a very serious face. "But Talia, how dare you do something like drink milk? Those poor cows getting fed and taken care of and milked regularly."

Ally nodded even though Katrina couldn't see him. "I've watched so many people I love go, my dear. They have died, they have left me...some because they had to, some because they needed to and some because they were so disgusted with what I was, a kind few left before we could grow too attached. After all of that, true relationships terrify me." Tears tried to force their way out of Ally's eyes.

Katrina sniffled as she raised her head from the floor. She thought she could hear Alejandro crying as well. She pressed her hand against the door and the other she used to wipe her eyes, "Alejandro...?"

Katrina reached up and unlocked the bathroom door. She cracked the door open a little bit and peeked out at Ally. "You act like you've never felt emotions before...Even as a vampire you had to have some emotions even if you didn't show them."

Jeff planted his hands in Yakovs hair. "Hmmm, I like watching you...I like showing you...mmm..." His eyes glazed over as he thought about everything he enjoyed from it.

Katrina opened the door all the way and just stared at Ally.

Katrina sniffled one last time and wiped her eyes as she nodded. She crawled out of the bathroom and stopped in front of Ally. She contemplated it for a second before she reached out and kissed him.

Ally froze for a second. That was about the last thing he had expected her to do. A moment later he relaxed and tentatively kiss her back.

Yakov shook his head. "Except we haven't had chains yet." He looked up and smiled. "You're getting a bit ahead of yourself there. You don't even know if I'll ever be comfortable with that."
