Steph opened her eyes and blinked at Maureen.

Katrina grunted in reply. She was sitting on the ground against the couch. She hurt, her whole body still ached but she wasn't going to say anything.

Ally sat down next to Katriana. "How are you holding up?"

Maureen smiled at her. She grabbed a washcloth and put some body wash on it. She looked at Steph. "Do you want to do this?" She offered her the washcloth.

Steph looked at the wash cloth and cocked her head in confusion. She didn't understand what she wanted.

Ally laughed. "My only complaints are a weariness of car rides and a few missing metaphysics."

After Maureen finished giving Steph her bath she helped her get dressed. She took her back out into the main room. "All clean."

Steph stumbled out with Maureen. She froze when she saw everyone else. There were people everywhere. She cringed and hid behind Maureen.
Katrina rolled her eyes then looked up at Maureen and the girl. "She seems pretty attached to only you dear, maybe you should gain her trust a little more before trying to convince her we aren't going to eat her?"

Ally smiled. "She just needs some time. As long as no one tries to eat her, I think she will be fine."

Maureen nodded. "I don't think she's so much worried that you'll eat her as she's more worried you'll probably try to beat her. She has some nasty bruises." Maureen took her back to the kitchen table. "She seems to like you Ally... You're name is Ally, right? I'll feel like such an idiot if I got that wrong."

Steph sat down at the table wearily. She never let herself get more than and inch from Maureen.
Katrina sighed, "Thats just sad. The poor girl."

Ally stood up and offered his hand. "Alejandro Diego Valdez. Terribly sorry that it has taken me so long to introduce myself. My manners seem to keep escaping me around all these wild animals."
