Miss Freaky Rose When her captain walked out of the cave the young witch saw the pike he carried. I don't remember him carrying that before. I wonder if he found it in there? As soon as the words went through her head Nomaloh raised his hand her way making her gasp when small bone pieces flew from it. He faced her direction for a moment and said something, then walked away. Rozalia stepped forward and looked on the ground. Her captain had killed a crab that was only two feet from where she had been hiding. Her eyes followed the direction he had went. "Is he going back to the ship? I wonder if I have enough time to check out this cave further before it sets sail again."Zivok followed Nomaloh out, stopping before the entrance. 'I'm kind of glad to get rid of that, though it meant something. I wonder what he will give in return... I may as well admire the night for a bit before going back to sleep.' Zivok laid down and stared out at the night sky admiring the stars, his tail swishing in the water. He had a clear view of the way in to his cove.

Xisa the Fairy fox of the fallen ones Xisa the Fairy fox of the fallen ones Xisa the Fairy fox of the fallen ones Waking up in the middle of her slumber, Kathrine looked towards the glowing bush where Faylina resided. Seeing that she was still asleep, Kathrine smiled before leaving barrier around the two of them and walking out of the room to get some fresh air. Arriving onto the deck, she noticed they had stopped at a little island. She was curious what was here to make them stop but kept her curiosity in check. Instead, she turned her gaze to the stars. Moving her hands up to about chest level where the palms of her hands faced each other, a few of her charms floated around her in a circle as an orb of magical energy bubbled forth between her hands. Crew members around the ship glanced over for a moment wondering what was making the light before most went back to work. They knew the captain's words he had said rather well of not touching them nor bringing harm to them. Soon, the magical orb solidified into a clear bubble revealing images to her. In the past, as the priestess of the temple, she had done monthly ritualistic star gazes. The stars, like all other beings in the world, were something she offered thanks to. Back in her time as the priestess, the island was alive with life. Plants grew strong, the people were healthy, even the animals had a sense of peace around them. However, now, this was merely something to calm her nerves, since she had no followers, while giving thanks once again. When she was finished, she cast the orb into the air before its magical energy seperated flying off in scattered directions almost like shooting stars. With her ritual finished, she went back to admiring the stars. Kiru awoke from a nightmare stirred by her memories she had regained from the fight before with the three rogue pirates. She frantically looked around for a moment suddenly free from the terrifying images. She heavily breathed out a few times and calmed herself. "Vel...uren..." The name itself seemed to unnerve her. She got up from her bedding and glanced around. "Wh-where is everyone? Only Rumiri is here..." She noticed after that the ship wasn't swaying, meaning they had landed. "Guess I'll get some air." She put on the rest of her outfit and made her way on deck, too late to see the show. She glanced around taking notice of who all was around and then looking toward land seeing a faint glowing light in the distance and nothing else. She turned toward the other side of the ship and noticed the star filled sky, causing her to smile. "Wow..." She walked to the side railing near Kathy and unknowingly admired the stars with her. The sorceress turned her gaze left as she heard a creak in the boat's deck. What greeted her was the girl she remembered helping when she first climbed aboard. In fact, she really hadn't said anything to her. the girl's lit up face in regards to the night sky caused her to smile as well. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" (I'm changing the name to fit the new powers and to different it from my ninja character.) "Hm?" Korruia turned toward her slightly surprised to see her there. "Yes it is." She looked back up to the stars as one of the them decided to shoot across the sky. "It's just like the nights I spent on that island... so clear." Though she was curious of what island the girl spoke of, Kathrine knew not to pry. Instead, she offered a story that had been passed down through her lineage. "An old legend states that there is a star in the sky for everyone in the world or even those not of this world. When that individual returns to the soil, the star will vanish as well. However, with its destiny fulfilled, the star gives us one final display of beauty as it shimmers across the sky before disappearing into the sea of night to later be reborn anew with the new life of another. It helps show those of us living bound to nature that there is beauty even in death for there will always be new life." The sorceress gave a smile to the girl as she pointed into the sky. Being a former shrine priestess that offered prayers as well as gave blessings to the stars, she felt compelled to spread the word of their divinity. "I can see that your star shines brightly miss. That is a good blessing." she explained further as she placed her hands together in offering to the star before closing her eyes for a short period of time. Korruia followed her gaze and looked at her proclaimed star. It gave her a sense of calmness and security seeing it so bright. "That's... a beautiful description of the stars and life. I wish I had a way of words like that..." She watched it for a little bit before a thought came to mind and she turned to Kathrine. "Speaking of wishing, where did the wish upon a star tradition come from?" "There is a good chance that tradition was formed from what my people have done for centuries. We offer our prayers to the stars to honor them as well as to receive their blessings. Somewhere along the line, someone that visited my people might have copied this fashion of praying and it eventually turned from prayer to wishing to them as the seeds of that tradition began to blossom. Since wishing can be very similar to praying, it would make sense for it to be construed as such." The sorceress explained, to what she believed at least, to be the most likely theory. Staring the at the stars still, she gazed at her own star and her expression softened almost as if she was sending it a telepathic apology for the strain she has caused it. Being crystallized, which was planned to be eternal with being a sacrifice to seal Nyathlizar, she had created an unnatural lifespan for herself that far surpassed a normal lifespan and she could see it reflected within her star.

Korruia gave her full attention to the priestess, and when she looked out to the stars Korruia did as well. "I see, thank you for answering that." Korruia gave one last look to the night sky and then turn back to the priestess. "Well, I think I'll head back to the room. Good night." Korruia nodded to the priestess and prepared to leave.

Hopefully nobody will notice I'm gone."So, Rozalia turned and walked back into the cave.

He noticed she had a magical air about her, guessing that to be her strength. He caught a scent from the ship he had smelled from Nomaloh on her as and relaxed. "Your captain just left... he should still be in view... That's right he should... so then why are you here? He's leaving." Thin trails of smoke rose from Zivok's nostrils indicating he was prepared to strike if she was deemed a threat.

She stared in awe at his size and beauty. It being the first dragon she had ever seen she was starstruck. When he spoke she shook out of her daze. "Curiosity brought me to this place. I mean no harm or disrespect. I only meant to wonder through and find the attraction it has for Nomaloh. But now I see the attraction. He must have brought us here so he could speak with you. Oh! I almost forgot to introduce myself."The young witch bowed towards the dragon. "My name is Rozalia."

The trails of smoke stopped and Zivok stood when she bowed, and slightly lowered his head in return as thanks for her manners. "Zivok... Nomaloh stopped by to drop off a comrade's share and barter for some others. Feel free to wander but don delay or you may be left, and I don much feel like flying tonight." Zivok laid back down and looked back to the stars. He wasn't worried if she went to his treasure trove and took something, he was at the only way in and out and a dragon's bond with his treasure hoard is strong enough to sense when even a coin has fallen loose to the floor.

Nomaloh made it to the other boat seeing that his crew was pulling various things off the boat. For now, that put him at ease that things were going smoothly enough. Stabbing the pike into the sand, he left a seal around it for if anyone tried to take it, blades from the dark realm would rise and skewer the unlucky fool. The Karras captain climbed on deck and began looking around for if anything caught his eye before coming upon a group of people tied up with a few of his crew standing over them. Around the ship were bodies with blood flowing out along the wooden boards. It seems they didn't like the idea of his crew taking their stuff.
"Who are they?"
"Captain, they're remnants of this ship's crew. The two of them didn't attempt to fight and ask for passage."
Turning to one of them, the necromancer narrowed his eyes at the lad. Saying the lad was scared was an understatement as he saw the four eyes of the Karras captain.
"I'm a n-navigator sir. I could-"
"Don't tell the damn pirates anything idiot! Where is your pride as a sold-" interrupted one of the other prisoners before one of Nomaloh's bone blades came out from his hand and he swiftly shoved it forward stabbing the man through the skull.
"Continue navigator..." Nomaloh replied in a more annoyed tone as he pulled the blade from the corpse.
"Y-yes sir! I know all routes of the navy and could provide them all to you. the man said bartering for his life.
"Very well...then you have your use. The lad will take me to the navigation room boys. I want you to find the cells down in the belly of the ship. This is a navy ship so there is bound to be some criminals. Release them and offer them the chance of joining me otherwise they'll be stuck on this island which would be most unfortunate. They resist, kill'em."
"Captain!" they said in acknowledgement before heading off to do their tasks. Taking the ropes off the lad, he had him start getting papers and anything else useful from the captain's quarters.

"Greetings Zivok."She turned to look back towards the ship and decided it best to go back so she wouldn't be abandoned on a dragons island. "I suppose you have a point. It was very nice to meet you. Especially since I was told all dragons were killed by the King's men, and those who sought easy fortune. I shall be on my way back to the ship then."Rozalia turned to head back to the ship. She was suddenly very tired and needed to lay her head down on her cot real soon.

Faylina cautiously stayed near, positively scared out of her mind of a dragon being around. When She saw them walk out she hid behind a rock and waited till it sounded safe enough to look, when Zivok's steps were receding. "Rozy!" She whispered loud as she could toward Rozalia trying to warn her otherwise of going in. She hid back behind the rock and gulped. 'Gotta help her...' She flew out from behind the rock and then zoomed in and near Rozalia's shoulder just as she turned to leave. Seeing the dragon laying down unthreateningly, she was confused. "Fay thought... eh?" All dragons she had heard of as a young fairy were all of bad ones that would eat you with the utmost ease.

Zivok smiled at the mention of the past. "Those were exciting days. Farewell." He noticed the fairy enter and analyzed her for a moment, before flicking his tail deeming her not a threat even with her speed. "Hurry on little fairy, your ride is leaving soon." Zivok relaxed and closed his eyes.

Kuinakitty Nalei of the Sirens Kuinakitty ~ With a serene expression, Kali watched the little turtles swim around. Suddenly, Kali's ears perked at the sound of twigs snapping and turned her head only to see Nalei come bursting through and into the water. The panthress moved closer to see if she was okay only to start rolling in laughter when her friend emerged with a baby turtle on her head. ~ Nalei had an tired expression from her landing and felt the turtle on her head. She snapped out of it and lifted it off and set it into the water letting it swim off. She noticed Kali laughing and felt embarrassed. She hurriedly swam to her and got out, drenched in the water. She looked toward Kali and smiled. "Revenge!" She does a spin while laughing, flinging water everywhere from her hair and clothing. Kali wouldn't get drenched but since she seemed so much like a cat, a little water should be equivalent. ~ Since she was on the ground laughing, she failed to see Nalei get closer. Her ears twitched at the word 'revenge' causing her to look up as a spray of water was heading her way. She gave an inhuman squeal as the water splashed onto her. With rapid sucession, her hands started swinging wildly while hitting her clothes trying to get it off. She was a cat that could tolerate water if she went to it herself but in a surprise attack, it scared her to death. ~ Nalei laughed till seeing just how flustered Kali was from it and she sat down waiting, both of them now damp from the sparkling waters. "Sorry, couldn't resist." She offered an apologetic smile and waited.

Aesthir the Winged Nerik was coughing same as Nalei and raised an eyebrow when she made the rune. "That's interes-ack" Before he finished she had also jumped off making him start coughing again. He opened an eye trying to see them but in vain. "So much energy... -cough- those two have." When the dust cleared once again he gave one more cough to cleanse his lungs and looked toward the two advancing to him. By their expression he knew they wanted to ask something, making him smirk. "I'm guessing you need a ride?" "To put it simply, yes. the rides we had to get here are no longer available. Sorry for the trouble my other two friends caused you." Zamiel said with a smile. Getting dust kicked up into his face was not on his to do list either.

Having fun like this brought her back to before the attack on her village. Kali was one of the panthers of the tribe that enjoyed playing with the cubs or children. Seeing such innocent laughter and happiness was her greatest joy. ~ 'But those days are no longer...' she thought to herself sadly as she tried to remember what happened unable to understand what attacked their tribe and why she was on this island.
