Katrina smiled at Maureen, "Good morning to you as well."
Steph poked her head out from the bedroom but saw everyone in the living room and hid back. She was afraid to leave the room but afraid to leave Maureen. She was torn.

Maureen grabbed Steph's hand. "It's okay." She looked at everybody. "Do any of you guys want breakfast?"
Talia looked at Maureen. "If I don't have to make it and it's free then hell yeah!"

Steph decided hiding behind Maureen was the best way to get through this. She clenched onto Maureens hand and peeked out from behind her at all the people. From her 'safe' vantage point she could study each and every one of them.

Maureen nodded. "What do you guys want?" She looked around at everyone. "Where are Yakov and Jeff?"

Maureen's eyebrows jumped up for a moment. "Um, alright then." She went into the kitchen and started to look through her fridge.

Yakov poked at his arm. "It seems fine. I'll just let it close up and be done with it. Do your legs still hurt?"

Yakov picked up the knife. "Sorry, Gorgeous. Maybe you should stay out of the way of the bullets next time." He kissed Jeff and then moved to get at Jeff's legs.

Jeff bit his lower lip but didn't make a sound. It hurt but he knew it was necessary.
