Yesterday was the White Coat Ceremony at University of Georgia's School of Veterinary Medicine. It's the symbolic beginning of the Class of 2012's careers as veterinarians (starting with their first year of graduate school). Obviously my younger son Sean is the DVM student in the white coat (although he doesn't look it, he is 22 years old). His older brother Kevin drove 8 hours Saturday, arriving at 11 p.m., to see his brother's ceremony. He stayed for the reception afterward and then drove back (getting home before midnight) so he could be at work at 8 a.m. this morning. Kevin is an aerospace engineer and works at NASA, Cape Canaveral, in a logistics/tech support group for the space shuttle. My hubby and I are very proud of our boys! biggrin
