Kiyap Turea tribe signifies the leaders of the four families with colored arm bands. Here is the leader NPCs name and the color of each. Blæd (Blaed) -- Warrior/spy class (Red) Leader: Craze
Gemynd -- scholars, artists (green) Grinder
Hælt (Haelt) -- healers/doctors (blue) Thole
Weork -- artisans/craftsman, builders (yellow)Bilboa PS. Any of you may take over one or more of these NPCs just talk to me. You would not have to create a character profile and they haven't done much yet. biggrin PPS. I took these names from old english, if you want to know what they mean, go here. If you want to play a part (any part) you can just start posting in that thread. i figured Tesunie's history was a little garbled, so if I played it out, it would make more sense.

Hey, Nathien, the history seems fine! I'm assuming you mean that he didnt know about the recent raid. Even if he has been gone a few years he would know something about the tensions between Feretris and the tribes, what with Feretris randomly kidnapping whomever they can. But, you know, maybe it hasn't hit him yet, him being young and all that.
A sabbatical into the woods sounds great. Do you want that to be a simple hunting trip of just a month or so, or do you want him to have been gone for a couple of years to study the ways of the forest so that he can be even less in touch?
Either way here are a few suggestions for joining the RP:
1) he went west, into the woods that the raiders are in now, and crossed the mountains into TOK, coming out where the little herd of dragons are. Jhovam is there right now.
2) he went south, using the plains and sparse woods hunting lands near where the Kiyap Turea are right now, and would probably meet them before seeing his own people again. We have two other characters with that tribe right now, one active and one somewhat MIA.
Does either of those sound appealing? There are NPCs to take up in both places, as there are every where. Don't forget that you could also play an NPC in your brother's history thread if you like.
PS. LOL it's easier to make a character when they've had a normal life, eh? cool Or maybe I'm just feeling more laid back. Actually I'm bouncing off the walls and it's bedtime! Eek!

I was just thinking that he was away hunting before the idea of the big raid came about and hasn't returned before the raid started, that way he couldn't have joined into it until now, when he innocently crashes into the raiding party in the woods (ok so I think there in the woods...)
Maybe he was away for a few years to study the wild and how to live there. However would it be fine if I gave my character a different ranged weapon then a bow? I was thinking a kama on the end of a chain (or a Kusari-gama)

Why not a Boomerang or maybe Throwing Daggers? Darts?
I hardly ever see hunters use tranquilizing darts to knock down prey and then mercifully kill them. It isn't kosher to just shoot something down.
