Best Ideas To Date:Dracon Igena Dracon of Drakelow Alright, I'm starting this RP to get more people to post in the Guild. I'm hoping many of you will join me and have fun!
OK, here are some ground rules:
1. No wining about the ground rules
2. Observe basic Gaia rules (yes, I'm lazy and refuse to type them all out)
3. Posts here are strictly for RPing, so DO NOT post anything else. That means questions too - if you have one, PM me please!
4. No god-moding
5. Don't run around killing people just because you can
6. I reserve right to delete a player
7. You can delete your own character and start over if you wish
8. Please don't be too cliched
9. Work together as a team
10. Don't piss me off!
There. Now that we've got that out of the way.
Background: You are a normal human being living out your daily life. You have a few friends, a decent family, a computer that supplies your basic gaming needs, and a console or two. You aren't obsessed or anything, but you don't know what your life would be without video games. You also RP sometimes with your buddies, sometimes playing the basic DnD type games, other times playing more specific ones. All in all, you pride yourself in your broad knowledge of the gaming world.
Basic Story: You were doing something, anything, when it happened. You were taking a shower, reading a book, walking to school, eating lunch. And then, for no apparent reason, you black out, and whoever was around you sees you dissapear.
The World You Wake Up In: It is a very large world put together much like a jigsaw puzzle made of hundreds of other ones. The world is a jumbled up mass of puzzles and ideas and creatures from every game you have ever seen and many many more that you haven't. Besides your surroundings, you also find yourself changed.
How to Start: Start by introducing yourself as a character. Your character will inherit some abilities from the top 5 games you choose - so be selective! I ENCOURAGE ALL TYPES OF GAMES!! I will play as well as provide you with puzzles to solve and creatures to encounter (if I'm not too busy). You will fill out the following form and send it to me as a PM if you wish to participate. I'll warn you ahead of time that I probably won't accept everything you choose for obvious over-powering purposes. But I do encourage innovative ideas and interesting abilities. Note: Anything I post in black will be as a GM. Anything else is as a player.

~Character: Dracon
~Player: Dracon of Drakelow
~Class: Hidecarved Dragon
~Race: Half Crystal Dragon
~Appearance: Crystal-scaled Humanoid with wings and very hard, clear spikes lining the back, shoulders, head and tail. I also have slanted white eyes, claws and teeth. As a Hidecarved Dragon, I gain the bonus of the ancient carvings etched into my hide.
~Abilities: I prefer hand-to-hand combat and employ a breath weapon of ice (either tiny ice spears or a thick layer of frost). My most becoming trait in battle is my extremely tough hide given to me by my class. The etchings will bestow other abilities later on.
~Top 5 Games: DnD, Rifts, Morrowind, and maybe more later
This will be my template for use in the game. At any time, I reserve the right to scratch a player - probably for obvious reasons. So, please submit your characters to me ASAP and I hope to start this in about a week! biggrin Zonza Fighter for Hire *has a suggestion* what about the people are trying to kill the dragons, and they have to defend themselves to survive, or the other way around? Darkangel06 Vysivaire ninja Due to developments in Pounding Wings, I suggest some on topic conversation.
i'm really not good at coming up with things, but like I said if you don't like it you can kill the idea!
What if we had just sort of a simple town out by the mountains in the woods and what not with...er not so simple people. Hybrids, dragons, Homo sapiens, werewolves, whatever (though...dragons and dragon related things highly encouraged)
Something slightly midevilish (I know, it's so done, but all the same).
OR
It's 2246(or aroundabout that time)
Scientists, goverment lab, etc. Anyways. Dragons are created. Yay for splicing genetics! They come in all shapes and sizes- scaled and leather, winged or leggless, feather, bipedal, capable of speach, or breathing fire- anything you can image.
But, of course O_O they get loose on earth! (or maybe on a space station, planetary colloney?). Here's something though- while they're trying to capture them, the people in the know arn't telling that the beasties are consciouse entities. Of course, are they evil? Good? Do they wan't revenge, to take over the place? Or do they just want to find they're niche and be left alone?
surprised but human and dragon participants encouraged. I think it'd do better with more participants though (10ish+)

well, those are all good ideas, so why not do 'em all...seperately
I mean you could have an RP of Dracon's idea, another RP of Darkangel's idea and 2 more of your ideas (the simple town of not simple people idea and the year 2246: dragons idea
im sure we would be better off with more than 1 RP, especially that it'll help if we gain more active member,they'll have a good selection, so they'll want to participate more...
