Kally whirled and kicked her hooves into the air joyfully. She was glad there was another horse to get to know. Sprinting past Starlight, she touched him with her nose.
You're it now!
She said and swerved away from him.

*Starlight darted after Kally after watching the pegasus for a moment longer.*
Not for long!!!!
*Dusk paid no attention to her energetic foal and his friend, but turned it towards Freedom. Wings now. Besides to decaying unipeg she had seen before, a winged horse was new to her. She had never really seen one for she never cared to look at Cirus's body much. A horrid mess it was.*

Whisper invited Freedom into the herd and made sure she was comfortable.
Stay as long as you like. Kally seems glad too have you!
He bobbed his head slightly as he watched the two foals race around.

*Freedom looked around the herd and took a few hesitant steps into it, and as one unicorn reached her head out and touched noses with the skiddish pegasus she jerked her head backwards, not used to contact from another.*

Whisper pinned his ears and warned the unicorns to be cautious. He then reassured Freedom that it was alright to aproach further, no one would hurt her.
Kally couldn't believe what her dam was saying. Gwen had pulled her over to speak with her.
Mother! I don't want to leave you!
She hurried over and rubbed against her dam. Gwen turned her head and nosed her comfortingly.
You don't have to leave for good. You just seem able to look after yourself now. So don't worry, you'll be fine.
Kally stood sadly near her dam as the reality sank in.

*Starlight bounded around the herd looking for Kally until he skidded to a halt infront of Freedom, who stood there alarmed. He had never seen such large wings on any creature. Compared to Starlight's size she was a massive creature. Though much bigger than he had been when he first met Kally and Gwen, and Dusk knowing it wouldent be much longer until Whisper would have to chase the colt out of his herd.*

Whisper watched contentedly over his herd and decided to take a quick walk around the valley to make sure there was nothing out of the ordinary.
Kally stayed with her mother a while longer before ambling over to Starlight, her graceful head hung low.
Mother says I can't stay with her all the time anymore.
She told her friend and rested on his back.

At least you can see her..It's not like she's going away forever and ever. You'll still be in the same herd as her.

Aren't you worried about leaving someday? Whisper'll have to chase you away.
She said to Starlight and watched him with big brown eyes.

...Yeah...I sapose he will..But if I keep thinking about that eventually happening I won't be able to enjoy what time I have left before it does.

Kally bobbed her head again and raced away, kicking her hooves up and bucked across the valley. Whisper spoke to Freedom.
So may I ask who that unusual old stallion was? He seems a little nutty.
The unicorn stated.

*Starlight stood a little startled and then bounded off after Kally, watching Freedom who eyed him as he passed for a second.*
Ah, when I was younger my dam and I, along with my sire..A golden pegasus just as I..One cool autumn day Dragon-The stallion who you call..Nutty-Came to an equal tie with my sire. Dragon took me and he kept my dear dam..I stuck wround with him for a while as he charged into countless herds, trying the best his old self could do to get more mares...He never seemed to like me much..So he left me here..Confused..Lost..Wondering where I shall go now...
*Freedom stared off into the distance, a strange look of thought on her face.*
(Yes, she's a bit paranoid XD)
