Our Asst. Drum major say 'Corps ten Hut'
We all snap to attention
After a bit. our drum major say 'Corps, Dismissed'
and we all shout back, 'Thank you sir'
and then trumpets do a weird snap thing.

Band: Well we're supposed to just fold our arms and be silent but we added in this "hoo" when we do it. 3nodding

abd we snap to attention
then we do this wierd hissing thing

and then we go into 2nd and put our heads down

Well, at band camp, we learned all that crap you need to know for drill downs, but...
DM: BAND A TEN HUT
band: ONE! (snap to attention)
unless they say "set". Then we get to attention asap.
Except this past year, when we got in our opening set, we kinda marched in and kept going into a spiral thing, but when we were rehearsing, we (th guard) just started where we were going to start the spiral, so when the captain in front called just us to attention, we didn't say anything...
It was really confusing when the band was taking a long time after we were set, because the ID (and I was one of them) started with the shields down at our sides, but our "parade rest" was from attention-straight down, so if they said "parade rest", we didn't know what to do..... rofl

haha we scream hut or pride it just depends on what the director feels we did that say heart
