Unfortunately the apocalypse wasn't going in her favor and her plus the scoobies were close to death.

Fortunately, the "death" they were close to was Club Death, the hippest hangout on the West Coast. The group went inside for a variety of cool, refreshing adult beverages, served in whimsical novelty mugs.

Unfortunately, their fun antics were ended by the 5.9 Richter earthquake, that caused structural damage to the club, and they once again had to face the very large demon that threatened to end the world.

Fortunately all of a sudden a magical energy flew towards Buffy empowering her greatly to defeat the demon.

Fortunately, it was a gluttony demon. Buffy coated the creature in cheese, and the poor beast literally ate itself to death. (Pizza the Hutt, anyone? xd )
