The Dark Fortress is found in front of the Framkta mountains and inside the deadly desert. It is the head quarters for the dark army and the center of their communications and in tell. In said Fortress, there are 5 floors, a basement, and a cellar. On the grounds there are 9 towers surrounding the base, stables for the horses, an archery range, and a horse training arena. You will also find the gate and the weapons storage there.
The Mess Hall is on the first floor. It is here where the knights, soldiers and scouts all come together to eat. A large kitchen is off to the back, housing the cooks and their large stoves and utensils. The food is laid out for the men to take. Long tables form rows in the large hall, benches on either side of them. They are large and sturdy, though in no terms are they pretty. Squires and pages run around, serving their patrons.
A couple small tables are set at the front of the Hall. This is where the generals and the important nobles sit. Theirs is the only table with a cloth covering the wood surface. These people are always the first to eat, in deference to their ranks. Lanterns and tapestries line the large stone walls, helping to heat the room and keeping those inside from freezing. Even the desert got cold sometimes.
