"Sorry, so sorry about that!" she said, reaching over to some dust some dirt off the girl's shoulder and picking up everything that had scattered from the crash. "I wasn't paying attention to what was around me, I'm a little aggravated today..." she finished rearranging everything and turned to face the girl face on with a smile. "Yeah, I found it. I guess I was a little loud when I got frustrated earlier, huh?" she laughed lightly, holding up the map. "My name's Hunter, I'm a junior. I haven't seen you around before, what's your name?"

“Allie,” she said with a nod while picking up her duffle bag and mini-rolly suitcase. “And the reason you’ve never seen me before is because I’m new but don’t misunderstand I’m not a freshy or anything. I’m actually in the same grade as you,” she said the last part with a smile cause now she knew someone in the same class as her at least. Well hopefully she’d be into music like herself…God she hated her parents at the moment for signing her up for photography. I mean seriously how in the world do those big cameras work?! She let out a sigh since she had gazed off into the distance yet again but that was only because she was thinking. She then snapped back to reality yet again today, “Sorry…it’s been a rough day.”

Hunter smiled a bit to herself as she noticed the girl was not only one who tended to stare off into space like Hunter tended to, but she spoke softly which meant she wasn't prone to that loud noise making habit like so many others were in her dorm last year and that the girl had previously been sitting calmly out of the way before Hunter had crashed into her unlike the other new kids bouncing around like idiots on the walkways.
"No s**t about the rough day. Need some caffeine and a cigarette right about now. Since you're in the same grade, we're going to the same place." She looked down at the map, finding the building with the junior dorms and registering where it was in accordance to where they were currently standing. 'I should've known that. I walked past that building at least once a week last year. Stupid.' she thought to herself before looking back to the girl with a shrug. "What do ya say we head to our rooms to drop off these things and maybe head to the cafe?"

Nicola was having trouble. Her computer just didn't seem to want to work. She had shifted plugs and outlets multiple times and even reset every connection she could think of and...nothing. Just a blank screen staring at her. She unpacked the rest of her things quickly in a rather grumpy mood and tried not to think about her laptop lying dormant on the nightstand by the bed that she had selected. Her cello was safely leaned against the wall in a corner and toe-shoes neatly arranged in her half of the closet and when she was done, it looked as if she owned two things. A laptop and a cello. Not necessarily a good thing, but it wasn't that bad either. Now she needed something sugary and sweet to get her mind of things going on.

“Cigarettes are a bad habit mate,” Allie stated to the girl as she seemed to stare at the map concentrating on it hardily. I mean seriously why trust in maps anyway, all she had to do was ask this dude for directions, he had been a dean so it was all good. She smiled when she thought of how hot that dean was, to bad he was off limits. “Umm sure thing,” she replied back as she heard the girl talk about going to the building that would start the prison routine. I can’t believe I got in to this school though! She thought happily cause at her old school was just a regular high school with regular classes. She then picked up her duffle bag and threw it over her shoulder while grabbing the handle on her suit case before starting to walk. "Well, ya comming?"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Bad habit I picked up years ago and haven't had the willpower to kill off yet." she replied, picking up her bags and tossing them over her shoulder. "I'm ready, let's head out." She stuffed the map into an outside pocket on her personal bag before following the girl around the corner towards their destination. After a couple of steps, the sun came out behind the clouds causing Hunter to squint before she pulled the sunglasses perched on top of her head over her eyes. She always hated the sun, one of the reasons she was able to retain such a pale complexion.
((Yeah, it's lame. I apologize - I knew I had to reply, just didn't have anything to reply with XD Don't you hate that?))

The sun didn’t bother Allie to much as it hit her square in the eyes when they turned that last corner. She was to used to it cause from where she had lived before hand sun was necessary to grow crops. She noticed that the girl had already placed her sunglasses on and couldn’t help but laugh. “To bright for ya?” she asked while trying to discontinue her giggling rant. When she did she felt kind of bad for laughing at someone for such a stupid reason. “Uh sorry. I normally don’t laugh at people…” she said while looking at the ground they were treading on at the moment. Gowd first I insult her about smoking and now something stupid like sunglasses? What has come over me…maybe it’s the water. I must never drink tap again! She declared to herself which only made he want to laugh more but stopped herself just in time.

Nicola bounded down the stairs and bust out of the senior dormitory building as if she had just broken free of being held hostage, but with her newfound freedom came a price, and that price was the near collision with two girls, apparently not senior girls either, by what she could tell. "Je suis désolé." She said apologetically as she tried to keep from running into other people at the same time even though she wasn't moving. It wasn't working too well. Even though she was usually rather graceful, running did not seem to heighten the ability.

Allie nearly jumped out of her skin as another girl ran smack on into her side and then apologized in a weird language she hadn‘t studied yet and probably wasn’t going to. Ohmygod what if it wasn’t an apology at all and the girl just cussed me out? She was baffled as to what she should be thinking about but then it occurred to her that she probably looked stupid just standing there. “It’s all good, we’re both fine.” she said with a smile hopping that was a good response to whatever the girl said. By the looks of it she was older then the two of them so hopefully it wasn’t foul language. Where was she going in such a fast pace anyway?

Nicola offered the girl who spoke to her a hand to shake. "I am sorry. I should not have run out the door. I was not paying attention. Soy un poco nerviousa y tambien emocionada...I mean, I am a little nervous and excited. New school and everything." She was flustered and her words came quickly. She often flipped between languages, but she tried not to if she was in an area where one language was primary. "My name is Nicola Danes. Most people call me Nikki." She had dozens of questions that she wanted to ask, but it would have been rude to bombard the girls.

“Umm well…my names Allie. It’s short for something but you can guess what it is short for later. Cause right now we are headed for the registration tent thingy but you’re welcome to come along so after we can all eat together…” she said because she didn’t really know what to say. See at her old school there was only two languages one of them being English and the other being Spanish. Where did this girl find the time to learn all these confusing languages the world may never know.

Homg! I'm so sorry I've been dead! D:
Had a looooot of things come up recently - got strep throat, then sunburn, then fired, rehired, almost evicted, new roommate, and a new dog all within the last two weeks. kljsdfljksdf <-- spaz.
Anywhoo, just wanted to say sorry and let you guys know I'm back and not dead! Haha. Soooo sorry again!

Hunter found that she had spaced off for a bit while the two girls talked, a bad habit she elapsed into whenever... well, all the time really. She shook her head minutely, as if clearing out the stars and spaceships that had started to float into her idling thoughts and turned to look at the two girls. Both seemed more than a little flustered and both we're talking too quickly to make any sense of the situation. Deciding this was a good time to cut in and slow things down, she extended one hand towards the girl who spoke multiple languages.
"Aloha. Me llamo Hunter. I just ran into Allie here, " she looked quickly at the girl mentioned with a smile before looking back to the newcomer. "around the corner. And I mean 'ran into' literally. Would you like to join us on our first adventure of the year? We're on a quest to gather information and fully find out how everything works around here."

Nicola was a little more at ease when Hunter joined in the conversation. She never liked being a little out-of-the loop, so to speak, and didn't want Hunter to feel like she was being excluded. "Ciao, Hunter. Mi nombre es Nicola. I'd love to help, if I can. This is my first year here also, so I don't know much, but I'll do what I can. What years are you?" She flushed, a little. "I'm sorry. I talk too much. I always have."

"I'm a junior and so is Allie. I've been here since freshmen year, but this year I happened to forget where the junior dorms were like a complete idiot. That and they changed all of the registration processes this year, so I'm not entirely sure where all of that ...stuff is either." she said with a small grin, rolling her eyes at the troubles of the new year. She looked from one girl to the other, looked around them for a second to remember where they were in reference to the miniature map in her pocket and finally turned back to them. "Sorry, I think we all tend to talk a lot in new situations. I'm normally a mime around here. Shall we head out?"
