I was in choir~ a mezzo soprano/soprano
I dropped it after I got sick of the disrespect of not only upperclasmen but the new director as well as the old one (before he left) as well as other people in general... I used to love everything about singing in a group...
what about you guys?
how do you like choir?
the people in your choirs? the director?
whats your favorite type of music to sing?
do you like pi?
lets get the choir talk started~

lol I guess there aren't that many choirettes in here ( is that way of saying people in choir to fancy sounding? XD)...honestly, I abhor choir...I only sing when I'm alone hehe

Im not in a choir but I enjoy watching them sometimes
at homeroom/club time.
my mom says Im around the soprano area

from what I hear from other people... choirs never been the cool thing to be in...
bet that makes the band geeks feel better >.>
after being in a choir since elementry school to half way through senior year... I can say, its a very dynamic place.... for example I had friends in each section so I always knew what was going on between intersection relation, and insection troubles.... you'd never think that a simple school choir could be so much like a separet... community...
all linked together for the sole purpose of... commanding an audiance for hours with little relent.
thats the only thing I liked about it... the power you as part oft he group were given over so many people, the power in general to create an art thats loved and respected through out culture clique time it is singing that breaks boundies more so than other musical arts because not every culture has a cello, or oboe or what the hell ever, but every human has a voice...

I used to be in chorus 5th - 8th grade. Then I dropped it. My highschool still had the regular chorus, and a Mens/Womens Choir for the more advanced/dedicated singers.

In my school its not much of if your voice is nice or something.
