Umiuta sighed softly, blinking his eyes to rid them of the sand. The walk had been horrible, and now flying sand? Augh, what had made him climb up here in the first place... Oh yeah, the flower for Nierre. He smiled softly at the thought of his mate, suddenly the conditions didn't seem.. so bad.
But, really, flying sand? The western territory was awful. It just drove him to find the flower, and get back home to the neutral territory. Speaking of territories, was he in anyone's? He hoped not... He didn't want to start a fight today.

Kega's eyes were blood-shot. She was still not.... acustomed to the flying sand. Her wings which were irritated from the pushing and shoving of the wind stayed on her back some how surpressed to her spine. Her Blindfold which she had lock around her neck to keep forever shook her fur on her neck uncomfortably. She had told Gethin she had been ill or whatever the excuse had been this time to go back to the East like she was forced to ever moon.
The sand was filling her fur clinging to the edges as some aqward colors seemed to be a ways away from her. Yellow...White... Green? What she thristy no she had just dranken from a stream it was no a halusination. So it was really something of such bright colors? Was it the sand the made her eyes think of the colors. No she would go see and prove herself wrong. So she lept pushing her feet deep into the sand and yanking them out towards the neon.

Umiuta paused in his stride, sitting down to try and swipe away some of the sand from his eyes. This was growing to be ever irritating. Flying sand... What would be next, attacking rocks? As the sand storm lulled slightly, the neon helix shook his coat of the sand it had accumulated.
He thought back on what he had been told, and he cointinued to clear off his eyes. A desert flower? Could anything grow out here? Well, grass grew out here. And some plants... So, surely, there had to be the flower?
