(( ooc - well I think it's kweel ))
sleeping peacefully Rana was unaware that he was still there the darkness of dreamless sleep healing her soul and strength in only a way a good sleep good, a slight colouring to her face already seemed to be returning under the dark stains of dirt and much that seemed to cover her face ... and any other part of exposed skin for that matter

Elladan did fall asleep then, his mind and body weary, and his position near the fire warm and soothing.

Sighing ... the endless darkness of dreams shifting as the evening and night shifted away leaving the room bathed in the pale light of morning that made Rana shift away from it's light casting her arm over her face in shear show of irritance as she half opened her amber eyes ... sometime in the night she had thrown aside the pillow so now her head was now perched on the matress.
giving up on persuing her slumber she got to her feet the sheet slipping of her like the last mantle of night as she moved to stand at the window her face half bathing in the pale morning light she took in a breath of crisp morning air deciding that it was a good a time as any to voice her feelings. she cleared her throat slightly and let a slight melodic note cross her lips and once glad that she was slightly in tune she decided that it wouldn't be so bad to sing
"I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase"
She trailed off slightly the resounding softness of her singing voice and the slight tears edging her eyes showing how much pain and grief rested on the surface of her being ... the flames and crys, she shook her head looking beyond it to a place further back in her past ... anything but the pain!

The singing woke Elladan and he looked up, watching the woman.
"Rana?" he asked in confusion, wondering what she was doing up...
When suddenly, disaster struck.
The balcony that the woman stood upon partially gave way as flames consumed it. It was then that the twin heard the sounds of battle, and he could feel the strange heat of the building.
Stading quickly and knocking over the chair, he rushed to Rana's side and grabbed her hand.
"Hold on!" he shouted, pulling her up next to him.

Rana's eyes where wide with both surprise and momentary fear as she grabbed Elladan's hand and allowed herself to be pulled up next to him her other arm wrapping around him.
If ever there was a more breaking sight then it was this ... the brave elven warrior maiden had been reduced to a shaking jumble of emotions, she obviously feared the fire that was clear above all else.
"don't let them hurt me ... don't let them hurt me"
She mumbled to herself so lost in the momentary shock that the memory of that day so long ago was repeating itself again
"I'm sorry father ....."
The words she had ever wanted to say spilled from her lips ... the simple appology seeming to bring her back from whatever fear had gripped her before and she blushed in embarrasement.

Elladan held Rana close, fearing for the lives of those in the city. "Come, we must help them." he said, starting to stand.
Of course that was when a strange purple headed man appeared and whisked both Rana and Elladan away.

Rana had barely begun to nod before the strange purple headed man appeared and whisked them both away
