No traces of human. That was exactly what Sophie wanted to hear. She smiled brightly, and couldnt help but take a deep breath in relief. She listened intently to the words of Tere, after all..Tere was a prized member of the pack. She trusted her.
"Mmm.. Food will be plentiful then. With our pack growing rather quickly, I think alot of food in the area would be a must. We must make sure not to wear out the lands.. If we want to make this a forever type of home."
She nodded, and knew a large pack of wolves could clean out lera quickly, wiping them out until life was unbearable here, and they'd need better lands.
She liked hearing about their lands, and she smiled, giving a nod as she listened more. When she heard of a smaller stream deep within the forest. She loved knowing there were sources of life in multiple areas within the forest lands.
"You've done well Tere. A fine member of the pack you make." She nodded.

Tere nodded agreeably towards Sophie's comment, and wagged her tail with pleasure when her alpha complimented her. "Thank you." she replied, dipping her head respectfully. As she did so, she caught sight of the accessories adorning her leg, blowing gently as she moved, and she sighed wistfully, remembering when she had first found the strange threads and had somehow managed to put them on, along with the feathers, after hours of struggling, just to impress Sophie.
"Remember when it used to be just the two of us?" she said suddenly, looking up at her alpha before glancing around the territory that was now their home. "So much has changed since then."
