Bio: Derek lived a normal life. Not popular or unpopular, he floated through life until, after graduating High School, he joined The Navy, where he led a short but extremely successful career. At the tender age of 19, having been noticed by Officials from "Another Office", he was tested at length until being invited to join SOPSEC (Supernatural Operations/Security), and elite and highly secret branch of the Department of Defense that responded to all threats that "Traditional Forces" could not.
There (as STORM-6) he was trained to handle any threat that the natural (or unnatural) world could provide, and participated in many successful operations, including the Denver Wolf-Riots and the Carpaki Clan Bloodrising. However, on a fairly routing extraction of a rogue Vampire in New York, Derek's squad was ambushed and slaughtered, leaving on Derek left to take the blame. Officially labeled a Traitor, he was forced to flee and go into hiding.
Content with a quiet lifestyle, he adopted an Alias and traveled constantly, until a string of violent murders, culminating in the death of his parents,
forced him back out into the open; now he seeks to find (and avenge) his betrayer, and discover the truth to the events that ruined his life.
