I canceled the contest. I sent trades of 20k to each of the participants.
Sorry, this contest didn't have enough participants and I now hate this stupid lame holiday ...
Thank you to everyone who participated. I am really truly sorry. I feel like I may have let a few of you down but I cannot do this at the moment. I don't feel whole anymore. I guess I'm just not worth it ...
Anyway I'll see you guys around.

I said I am gonna stay away from the guild mainly because I'm afraid everyone is going to be mad at me. I can see that there are 3 people upset with me not including myself. I don't blame them.
I gave each of the participants 20k because I know that each of them put time and effort into their tekteks. I didn't just want to cancel it and not reward them. I'm not that much of a jerk.
To those that are mad at me, I had many reasons to cancel the contest. I'm sorry if this seems a little harsh but at this moment I don't care that you are mad at me. I'm going through a very large bump in my current real-life relationship, not that you need to know that or that you even care to know.
I'm sorry I'm just venting ... Forgive me.

Poor APC *hugs* I feel bad for not entering, but I've been going through my own relationship problems and wasn't in the mood to sit and do a tektek for valentines day. i'm sorry you are going through issues and I hope they get resolved soon. heart

I don't think anyone is mad at you. Other contests have been cancelled here. I don't think it's a big deal. I was going to enter last minute because I haven't felt like tekteking. xp
It seems like this holiday brings problems for everybody, wether single or in a relationship. I hope things get smoothed out for you. cry

I understand that most people didn't feel like doing another Tektek contest. I kinda knew from the beginning that this contest was going to fail anyway. That is why I had the prizes for the Tektek so high in the first place. I thought it would attract more people, but oh well. I hope these problems aren't permanent but I'm thinking they will be.

I don't think anyone is mad at me either, but I do think that some of them may be upset that I canceled the contest, at least that is what the poll said. I really don't care thought I know that sounds rude and everything but if they really cared about me or the things I am going through they wouldn't have answered that they are upset. They most likely would have understood why I canceled it. I think most of the regulars are people I can trust and I believe that they wouldn't be upset or anything of the sort. I think most of them care about me at least a little bit, and I don't think they would have answered that they were upset.
The funny thing is that this holiday does bring problems which is ironic seeing how it is supposed to be a holiday all about love xp

I think the upset about it closing may have been a comment about how they're upset that something's bothering you enough that you closed it.
No one likes to see someone else that unhappy.
I was going to vote upset about it just because you seemed really unhappy and that's why you closed it. That or before it seemed like you closed it mayyyybe because there weren't enough entries? It was a little vague and stuff. I don't think anyone's really that upset.
It happens with tektek contests ALL the time.
Can't tell you how many I've been in that they've just cancelled after I've submitted at least one entry. It just comes with the field. The fact that you paid each person means you at least did it responsibly.

I participated in no poll other then the valentine one about hugs. I'm not mad or upset I can totally understand not being up to stuff seeing as I'm having problems of my own. The most important thing right now is for you to find a way to feel better.

I suppose I was a little vague but the poll was quite clear. It clearly asks "Are you upset with me for canceling the contest?" I suppose people misread it and I guess I can understand.
