♥How this works!♥

♥ Pets get 2 points per RP they are in for that Month.
♥ If the RP hits three pages long the Pets involved get an extra 3 or 4 points. Depending on type of RP Normal or Romance.
♥ They can't get the extra points for the pass three pages for the same RP until that RP hits another three pages.
♥ If an RP rolls over into a new month pets will still get their points. We look at the Date stamp to see if they RPed in the month in question.

The RP Point System!

Regular RP Rules
Each month a Pet can accumulate a total of 20 pts* per RP they’re in.
It’s broken down as follows:
2 pts – for the RP
3 pts – if the RP has gained more than 3 pages in that month (additional 3 pts bonus** if it makes 6 pages, etc). **note: not included in the general RP accumulation
3-5 pts – depending on post sizes in a single page of the RP (post lengths will be averaged over the page)

*note: based on a maximum 3 page/per month point system. If the RP runs over into 4 or 5 it will also have additional points again average post size.

Romance RP Rules
[R] must be in the title to qualify for Romance RP points.
(I would prefer it at the beginning so I can quickly scan them; thank you)
Only two pets per thread.

So.... I had to wait a month to see how everything would pan out. This is why the RP points look weird on the comments on the doc.
On some RP's the pages have only been filled in half way or at least started... You may have received full points but were not "full." So they have been adjusted. Half last month, half this month. Now what constitutes a "half" and "full" page.

Half - depicts that the page has been started but only has a few posts on it.
Full - means that it is nearly a full page of posts.

But either way, this way you can get full points per page.
If you had received 5/6 points last month, you still get full points. 3nodding

So... looking over some loose ends. I cleaned up the Event/Holiday RP Rules.

Each event I will do are similar but worth different amounts considering what they're for. In-Thread and/or Guild - impromptu - events will be 5 pts, unless I specify otherwise in the Event Thread. If I deem a winner in an event it will be a small additional bonus.

Upcoming RP events are as follows:

A small Thanksgiving event on the 21st, day before Turkey Day... look for that around 3 PM MST. I live in Arizona, so we here in the desert state don't observe DST, otherwise known as Daylight Savings Time. We're the lucky ducks that get to float between PST in spring/summer and MST fall/winter.

December will be a HUGE opportunity for points like this month has been but... BETTER. I'm thinking an Advent Calendar. So, look forward to it. I'm working out the kinks in it still. If I do it, it will run from the 1st to the 25th. Otherwise, I have back-up ideas.

Be sure to catch New Years Eve... not sure on New Years Day as of yet. There will be a similar event to that of Thanksgiving.

So, that's what's coming up on my side of things...
These points are and will be in addition to whatever you have accumulated in the RP sub-forum.

I've come up with a solution to my point awarding dilemma. You may notice at the end of your monthly posts an inserted note of where I left off on time stamps. It'll be easier on me to scan through each page and see those rather than staring at timestamps all the time 3nodding

There's a few things I'm developing and will need approval by Kara before implemented.

Sept 3, 2013:
Decided to start color coordinating the RP points... 'cuz well, it's easier for me XD
So I'm basing it off the month's birthstone. So far, it's working...

Pets that have not been active for a year are listed in grey.

Other RP things...
Kara and I are still working on the RP shop. I promise all those vouchers will be good! Just hang on to them!
